Terms and Conditions of The Basket People

The freight amount is calculated on destination per basket – Single orders are usually between $15.50 and $35.00, quantity orders may receive a discount, which we will notify you of via

email if applicable. Single Christmas hamper orders require at least a 2 day lead time before despatch.

The Basket People only use quality couriers delivering door to door and all hampers are insured for your protection.

We recommend a work delivery address for the recipient, as most people are not home

during the day to receive their gift. If the recipient is not home and the courier feels that it is not safe to leave the gift, you may incur an additional fee for another delivery. The Basket

People endeavour to deliver on requested days but take no responsibility for late deliveries. Please note that

DELIVERIES ARE NOT POSSIBLE ON WEEKENDS OR

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS.

The Basket People will endeavour to despatch your order with 2-3 working days of receipt, but due to the volume of orders closer to Christmas this may not

always be possible. Every Gift Basket is packed to order to ensure freshness. The Basket People do not hold on

hand stocks of any of the advertised hampers.

When necessary due to limited availability of products The Basket

People reserve the right to substitute products of equal or greater value.

This includes carriers and internal contents.

The Basket People prefer NOT to ship Fruit baskets in the 2 weeks leading up to Christmas due to the extreme heat that Sydney receives at this time.

As with everyone at Christmas time all of our couriers Australia wide are under extreme

pressure to deliver. Whenever possible please ensure plenty of time for delivery. Delivery time schedules are available on the site at www.thebasketpeople.com.au It is advisable to add

at least 2 days to this schedule at Christmas time. Please verify that the address provided is accurate and all unit numbers and details have been provided. Redeliveries due to incorrect

information may incur additional charges. Prices are quoted in Australian Dollars and include GST, which in some instances will not be

the full 10% due to the nature of the products. Persons may only purchase hampers containing alcohol over the age of 18.
