We went to Nigeria rst, from September 23through September 27. Our aim was to dedicate
the new branch of Christlove church at Ibadan,Nigeria. However, due to unexpected delays, thebuilding was not ready. We went ahead and dedi-
cated it anyway. The building will be completedsoon. Please pray along with us as we search for a
dedicated pastor to lead the new church.
We then went to Liberia on the second phase ofour mission trip. This phase of the mission trip was
in collaboration with the Healthcare Christian Fel-
lowship (HCF).
HCF evangelizes people who pass throughhealthcare facilities, because, across the world,
more people pass through healthcare facilitiesthan pass through the churches. And their spiritual
needs are urgent because many of them never
return home; they die.
Elder Sam Amaechi, the HCF regional promoter
for English-speaking West Africa, and EvangelistAnil Sirisena, a medical physicist at the Universityof Jos Teaching Hospital in Nigeria, represented
the HCF. In 2008, when we went to Liberia, we hadproblems that prevented us from completing our
mission. This time everything went well. Unlike ourprevious visit when we stayed in the capital city of
Monrovia, this time we went to Gbarnga in centralLiberia. The medical outreach and the revival ser-vices were successful.
Our chief host was Rev. Edward Togba, the HCFNational Coordinator for Liberia, who, with histeam, showed us Christian love in a practical, self-
less way. We were challenged by the dedicationof our brothers and sisters in Gbarnga in spite of
untold hardship and personal tragedies during andafter the civil war in that country. There is a passionfor evangelism and that is all they talk about. They
also SING very well, in HARMONY!
We also met with members of Christlove churchin Gbarnga. Pastor Moses Myakpan and members
of the church told us how their church was de-
stroyed for imsy reasons. They are not discour-
aged, as they worship in a local school and prep
to build a new church. One of the members walkfour miles round trip, three times a week, to attechurch activities. Our plan is to increase our sup
port to them. Thank you for the gifts that you gavus, despite your own needs.
While thanking our brothers and sisters in
Gbarnga for their love and hospitality, certainpeople deserve special mention. We would like
thank brother Anthony Kollie for allowing us to uhis car during our four-day stay in Gbarnga. Thanyou, Dr. Moses Ani, for providing us with a deli-
cious supper on day three. Thank you, Dr. Augustine Togbah, for making your clinic available for
medical outreach. Thank you, Rev. Edward Togband Pastor Moses Myakpan for all your efforts to
make our stay in Liberia a comfortable one. Lastbut not the least, thanks Harry, for driving us allover the place. As I said before, you are the bes
driver in the world!
To all our brothers and sisters in Liberia, mayGod continue to bless you as you seek to expan
His kingdom. Amen!!!

The Power of Praiseby Past Kikem Tn
Thee is pwe in paise!!!
The Bible says in Psalm 22:3, But art holy O Thou that
inhabitest the praises of Israel.
There are ve main manifestations of praise and worship:His Pesence. When you praise and worship God, you
bring down His presence because God inhabits the praises
of His people (Psalm 22:3).
His Pwe. His power also will be manifested when youworship and praise Him (Acts 16:26-31).
His gy. Praise and worship also bring down the glory ofGod.
His Anintin. Praise and worship bring down the anoint-ing of God upon His servants so that they are able to minis-
ter effectively.
Deieance. Praise and worship bring down the deliver-
ance power of God into play. This is found in II Chronicles20. God comes to deliver His people as they praise and
worship Him. So, as we praise Him wholeheartedly, expect
deliverance chains are broken, sicknesses and diseasesleave our bodies.
When we worship God, His power is manifest in our lives
and situations. Lets come to the presence of God with wor-
ship and praise.
We should learn to worship and praise God in all situa-
tions and our worship should be from the heart and not justfrom the lips. We should worship and praise Him in spirit
and in truth; when we do that, the anointing of God will startto ow.
The quickest way to get into His presence is throughpraise and worship. Most of Davids psalms are songs of
praise and worship. No wonder God described David as aman after His own (Gods) heart. Hallelujah!
God is pleased when we praise Him. The only thing we
can give God is to praise Him for who He is and what He hasdone for us.
There is no power greater than His power, He is the King
of Kings and Lord of Lords, the Creator of the whole uni-
verse Jehovah Elohim.
He is a mihty gd!
He is an awesme gd!
He is omniptent, a-pwef!
He is omniscience, a-knwin!
He is omnipesent; He is eeywhee!
Praise Him for He has given us life. Acts 17:28 states, Forin Him we live and move and have our being.
Tremendous power is released when we praise Him anda lot of Christians dont realize the power in praise and
worship. God enjoys being praised by His children. A goodexample relates to the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusa
lem. His followers were praising Him and the Pharisees toldHim to tell His followers to be quiet. Jesus said that if they
kept quiet, the stones would cry out. No stone will take myplace.
Miracles occur when we praise God, the ones we can seeand the ones we cannot see. Our enemies are being de-
feated right, left, front and back. That is why Satan does notwant us to praise God. Our enemies are destroyed just by
singing praises to God.
