I progressed from general laborer to supervisor within a few years of service with the company. In the process of moving up the ranks I learned to oversee employees and how to cut cost within the departments. I strongly believe in the cross-training of employees and have been a production supervisor for 4 years. I have knowledge of multiple departments in the poultry industry ranging from reprocessing, back end, Giblets in the evisceration department, to second processing (i.e. cut-up, Dapec line, and chiller rehang), and the Debone department. As Production Supervisor for a Case Farms, I was successful in supervising the day-to- day operations of the Debone, Wogs, Fast Food and box room department employing 170+ production staff and team leads.
