What’s Happening1. We have a new website created by Restoration Sites along with Facebook and Twitter pages. Go to: www.cwjclc.com to check us out and from there you can click the Facebook and Twitter icons. Check back often as we post pictures and info to help keep you informed of all the blessings that are happening at CWJC!

2. Neeley and volunteers have spruced up and organized the CWJC offices with fresh paint, furniture and wall decorations. Please come by and see how nice everything looks.

3. CWJC’s National Office designed a new logo. The cross represents the centrality of Christ as the path to a lifestyle of self-sufficiency. The circular shape symbolizes the holistic nature as all aspects of a women’s life are positively affected. The red color expresses warmth and deep relationships formed through mentor/participant relationships.

5. Lisa Ditchkoff, author and founder of Opelika’s Event Center, shared her life story this week and presented each lady with an autographed copy of her book.

6. Each participant was paired with a mentor on Friday at a lunch with fabulous BBQ, Blue Willow China and beautiful spring floral bouquets. Thank you to all who helped make this day a success.

Mentor Pairing Lunch on Friday, March 7. Each participant was introducted to their Mentor -- an intregal part of CWJC.

Mentors for this Session Christy Benitez, Nancy Haynes, Jan Marple, Bets Golden, Emily Patterson, Beverly Marshall, Roenia Janigan, Tomekia Rush and Toddy Savage, Mentor Coordinator and Trainer.

QUOTES FROM PARTICIPANTS SHARED THIS WEEK

“First of all, a big thank you to CWJC for accepting me into the ministry. Over the years, I have questioned my lack of vision and motivation. I’ve felt lost, often battling low self-esteem, feeling unloved and unworthy. I feel blessed to be with a group of women who are battling some of the same things as I am. I pray when I graduate this program, I have the confidence to step out on faith to change my life as I place it all in God’s hands.”

“This week has been inspiring and very motivational. It is nice to be in such a loving, positive environment. This week has taught me that although we may struggle there is always hope.”

“ I love meeting new people and we know how to laugh and cut-up in a good way and we eat so good for lunch.”

“ I learned this week that I need graditude and affirmation to start taking steps towards my goals.”

“There has been nothing but love in the air. We motivate each other.”

“I love the devotion each morning.”

“Thank you, God, for this wonderful opportunity.”
