Christian Religion Explained.Christianity was formed in 33 C.E. There origin is Palestine. They have about 2.1 billion followers. The bible is sacred text for the Christian religion. It was developed out of Judaism in the 1st century C.E. Founded on the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and those who follow him are called “Christians”.  Christianity is the biggest religion ever. It has over 2 billion followers. It has spread all over the world in almost every country. They praise god for everything he has done for us in the past and present.

Traditional Christian believes in the one and only true god, who is one being and exists as Father, Son, and The Holy Spirit. The split of early Christianity and Judaism took place during the first centuries of the Common Era. It is commonly attributed to a number of events, including the rejection and crucifixion of Jesus, the council of Jerusalem, the destruction of the second temple and institution of Jewish tax. The traditional view has been that Judaism existed before Christianity and that Christianity separated from Judaism sometime after the destruction of the second temple. Recently some people have discussed that there were many competing Jewish sects in the Holy Land during the second temple period, and the ones  that became Rabbinic Judaism and Proto-Orthodox Christianity were but two of these.

The Jesus Movement began as sects with in Judaism and spread all over the Mediterranean region by being passed from one Jewish community to another. Jesus, of course, was a Jew, and also his original disciples. He saw

his ministry as leading his people to higher ground, not launching a competing movement.

His followers believed Jesus to be the Messiah promised by the Hebrew Scriptures. The Jewish religious establishment was at least somewhat threatened by Jesus teaching, although the amount of their opposition might be overstated by early Christian writers such as the authors of Matthew and John.

As the Jesus Movement spread and came into contact with other influences, such as Greek philosophy and Roman cultural centers outside Judea and Syria, the movement felt a growing need to distinguish itself from other religions and philosophies. They did so in the time-honored practice of declaring their views true and other views false. At the same time, Rome was engaged

in ruthlessly suppressing Jewish acts. Some of Jesus’s people interpreted those devastating attacks as further signs of their rightness.

JudaismThe most spoken language in Jewish culture is Hebrew. Jewish people are most prominent in U.S.A, but it is only 2% of the population. In Israel, 75% of the population is Jewish. According to studies, there is only one Jewish citizen located in Afghanistan. The Jewish are open to any type of government

Jewish people celebrate a Bar Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah when their child comes of age. Bar Mitzvah is for boys who reach the age of 13, and Bat Mitzvah for girls the age of 12. This event is the celebration of children becoming adults. They are now responsible for their actions instead of their parents. They also get to throw a party after the ceremony. Judaism is one of the oldest monotheistic religions and was founded over 3500 years ago in the Middle East. Jews believe that God appointed the Jews to be his chosen people in order to set an example of holiness and ethical behavior to the world.

Chanukah is not an extremely important holiday, but it is what they celebrate around Christmas time. They light a Menorah, or a Chanukah, one candle at a time, one each night. They also get a present for each day. It’s a violation to ignite or extinguish a flame on Shabbat.

Work is not permitted on Rosh Hashanah, on Yom Kippur, on the first and second days of Sukkot, on Scheming Azeri, onSimchat Torah, on Shavuot, and the first, second, seventh and eighth days of Passover

Yom Kippur is probably the most important holiday of the Jewish year. Many Jews who do not observe any other Jewish custom will refrain from work, fast and/or attend synagogue services on this day.

Hindu mythology is a large body of traditional narratives related to Hinduism as contained in Sanskrit literature. Hinduism, the religion of the majority of the citizens of India, faith whose local manifestations are diverse. They shape culture by giving the people different perspectives in how their culture worked many years ago. Mythology shaped Hinduism by saying things that are unknown or not yet found. For example: “Hindus are idol worshippers” In reality, Hindus worship a reminder of God. No Hindu will say he or she is worshipping an idol. Instead, Hindus believe in a physical representation of God in the form of an idol . It helps them focus on an aspect of prayer or meditation. For instance, a person who has just opened up a new business may worship Ganesh, the elephant god who represents success. Folklore is a belief that the Hindus have that has been passed on for many years.
