the London Waterloo to Weymouth line offering

rail journeys into London in around two

For journeys down to the coast, or Salisbury in the north, the A338 is only two miles away. The A31 is nine miles away, connecting to

both the M27 and the M3. There’s a bus stop outside Monterey, so

you can pop into town quickly or visit several local villages nearby.

Bournemouth (three miles away) and

Southampton (30 miles away) airports — offering flights to destinations within

mainland Europe and the Channel Islands.

Poole, the closest port offers a variety of

destinations including other local coastal towns,

the Channel Islands and western France. Southampton serves as an international

departure point and nearby Lymington offers a regular service to the

Isle of Wight.
