That’s a daily reminder from

God to live every day being fearless!

Comments from Recent Participants of CRHP

“An incredible experience.”

“It was very much a spiritual awakening for me that

dramatically changed the way I live my life.”

“I go to church now and see so many familiar faces and feel so much love

and care from them through the Lord.”

“The weekend was the best gift

I’ve ever received.”

“The CRHP weekend was an experience I have never felt before.

The caring and sharing was profound.”

Who is invited to attend? Any female member of the parish 19 years or older is invited to participate. Encourage a friend to come along! Those who attended a CRHP retreat weekend more than 10 years ago are also warmly invited to return!

I would like to attend the retreat this year, but cannot commit to any follow-up meetings. Should I still come? Yes, by all means! Many past participants are glad they attended the weekend even if they are not able to participate in the follow-up meetings.

What about meals? Plentiful and delicious hot meals are prepared and served. Regular breaks for beverages and treats are provided. Special diet menus can be arranged; just let us know your special needs.

What if I have special health needs? Just let us know and we will accommodate your needs as much as possible. Where do people sleep? Shower? Sleeping accommodations are cozy. Participants are assigned to a classroom where twin-sized roll-away beds are set up. Each person is asked to bring her own sleeping bag or linens and a pillow. Showers are available. Insomnia! Will I disturb others? I can’t sleep with others in the room. Don’t worry! Remember this is only one night’s sleep, and to minimize this problem we retire late and rise early. Think about bringing earplugs. No one’s feelings will be hurt. You will sleep well Sunday night. J Will I have to get up in front of the groups and talk? No ~ you can expect some small group discussions and most people find that the more they participate, the more they enjoy the weekend. However, it is entirely up to you.

What is the Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) Retreat? • It is a special weekend of women sharing their

journey with the Lord. • A team of women who attended the retreat the

previous year present the retreat. • Members of the CRHP giving team give short

talks, sharing their life messages and spiritual journeys. • It is a time to relax, away from the routine of daily

life, pray and rethink priorities and your relationship with God. • It is a time to get to know others in the parish and

grow as a community. • It is not a silent retreat, yet there are periods of

quiet reflection and prayer. • It is not a parish organization or clique.

What happens during the retreat? The weekend will include talks by the CRHP Giving team on topics such as “God’s Loving Care” ~ “Spirituality” ~ “Community” – along with some group discussion, prayer and reflection time, Mass, food and fellowship. It is an experience to treasure!

General Information

• The retreat extends from 8:00 a.m. Saturday, January 27 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 2018

• Held in the COR Center at St. Margaret Mary

• Dress is casual

• Attendance is limited!

• The cost of your retreat is being sponsored by previous CRHP participants and the Parish. The women of CRHP believe so strongly in the value of this retreat that it is their gift to you.

Be Not Afraid...all you have to do is make time to come!
