ChangesinChurchLeadership

The Lord has promised that He will not leave us

As a church of Christ Ambassador, we extend our pro-

found gratitude trusting and believing you have had

a blessed month full of sufficient Gods grace and

love. The church of Christ Ambassador has experi-

ence changes in the recent past weeks in its organizational struc-

ture. This has seen Pastors Jimmy and Mercy Macharia joinChrist Ambassador church replacing Pastor Peterson Okoth, 69,

who has retired from the position he served for eight years. Pas-

tor Okoth have served a glorious and successful life in the min-

istry of serving our almighty God. We wholeheartedly welcome

the predecessors of Pastor Okoth, Pastor Jimmy and Mercy

Macharia with humility in their endeavors of servant leadership.

We ask God to grant them the spirit of wisdom and revelation in

the knowledge of God. This is to accentuate, one sure sign of

spiritual maturity of a Christian is the ability to discern and walk

in Gods perfect will as congregation of parishioners believing

and worships God.


Quite often, we just work and intentionally or

intentionally do not know when to give our bod

ies a rest. Equally important, it is perfect to be

hardworking and very diligent at work but in all

probabilities, it is important to recognize the fact that as

human beings our bodies have limits of exhaustion it can

bare. However, it is important that you take cautiously

good care of your body, not only in the things you eat,

but also in making sure your body is well rested. In the

scripture, we are summoned that God blessed and sancti-

fied the seventh day: “because that in it He had rested

from all His work…” (Genesis 2:3).

The Lord rested because He was exhausted. This is a

clear indication that every individual need to rest theirbodies to recover from exhaustion. Consequently, failure

to do so we risk our bodies of wearing out unknowingly.

Giving your body a spree time of rest is a way of main-

taining good health which should be taken with great

considerations.

So as a child of God fellowshipping in the church of

Christ Ambassadors, find some amble to rest after a hard

labor or hectic errands. This is essential for your wellbe-

ing!

andgloryofthescene.Becauseoftheir

drowsinessandstuportheyfailedtore‐

ceivetheevidencethatwouldhave

strengthenedtheirsoulsfortheterrible

scenebeforethem.Thustodaythevery

menwhomostneeddivineinstructions

oftenfailofreceivingit,becausetheydo

notplacethemselvesincommunication

withheaven.

Perseveringconfidence

Whenintrouble,manythinktheymust

appealtosomeearthlyfriend,tellinghim

theirperplexities,andbeggingforhelp.

Undertryingcircumstancesunbelieffills

theirheart,andthewayseemsdark.And

allthetimetherestandsbesidethemthe

mightycounseloroftheages,inviting

themtoplacetheirconfidenceinHim.

Jesus,thegreatBurdenBearer,issaying,

“ComeuntoMe,andIwillgiveyourest.”

ShallweturnfromHimtouncertainhuman

beings,whoareasdependentuponGodas

weourselvesare?

Youmayfeelthedeficiencyofyourcharac‐

terandthesmallnessofyourabilityincom‐

parisonwiththegreatnessofthework.But

ifyouhadthegreatestintellectevergivento

man,itwouldnotbesufficientforyour

work.“WithoutMeyecandonothing,”says

ourLordandSavior.John15:5.Theresultof

allwedorestsinthehandsofGod.However,whatevermaybetide,lay

holduponHimwithsteady,perse‐

veringconfidence.

Inyourbusiness,incompanionship

forleisurehours,andinalliancefor

life,letallthe

associationsyouformbeentereduponwith

earnest,humbleprayer.Youwillthusshow

thatyouarefainthearted.Whenyouare

desponding,closethelipsfirmlytothem;do

notshadowthepathofothers;buttelleve‐

rythingtoJesus.Reachupyourhandsfor

help.Inyourweaknesslayholdofinfinite

strength.Askforhumanity,wisdom,cour‐

age,increaseoffaith,thatyoumayseelight

inGod’slightandrejoiceinHislove.
