The client needed to reach prospects with a consistent message regarding bankruptcy. The client expressed an interest in using outdoor media. This project is currently in production.

The client needed to reach prospects in a professional, yet passive medium. I developed a seasonal (quarterly) newsletter to be distributed for free to complementary businesses, such as veterinary offices and hospitals, professional dog groomers, dog washing locations, etc. I am responsible for the entire production; including layout, story research, copywriting, photo and image editing, production art, and print management. The campaign is in its second year and has proven itself to be quite productive as a referral tool and lead generator, without actively selling the brand’s services.

The client wanted to offer a more cohesive online presence that effectively communicated that brand message. I developed the concept and created all front-end visuals, as well as all copy. I worked closely with a third-party programmer who wrote all of the code and will launch the completed site shortly.

After conducting a client survey, I learned that the majority of Lorenzo’s dog training clients were aspirational consumers. I built a composite profile of a typical client and that helped me determine where (media) we should advertise in order to reach the highest qualified prospects. The lightning rod target is female and shops at least twice per month at Costco. Costco recently announced the launch of their Member-to-Member Value Book that will be distributed to all members (nearly 20,000) of their Mayfield Heights, Ohio location before the holiday season.

I developed the entire ad, including writing the ‘Twas the Night Before…” parody copy.. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I have a strong desire to promote local food and small farmers wherever possible. A coalition of farm-oriented sponsors needed to raise funds for The Small Farms Conservancy and the producer of a small farmer documentary asked me to create an attractive poster to generate awareness and buzz for their event.

This Florida client was referred to me by a local dog trainer. He is an independent consultant and he wanted to launch his new business with an effective buzz generator. His ideal target was affluent female dog owners with sufficient income to support his fee scale.

I decided that the best way to make the biggest impact for his budget was a direct mail piece. We split 1,000 4” x 6” postcards into three separate mailings and purchased an accurate list that met his criteria. After measuring results, the client was extremely happy with a nearly 7% ROI and this single campaign successfully launched his business.

I elected to draw the illustration of a chihuahua next to a luxury shoe, which playfully conveyed the message to the affluent ($150,000.00 + HHI) target. Based on my research of luxury consumers, I felt that a hand-drawn image might engage the target in a more memorable way than photography might have.

The client wanted a creative and affordable way to compete directly with corporate pizza restaurants in the Mentor-on-the-Lake, Ohio market. After creating the brand, I developed a door-to-door marketing campaign that the chains would not bother to attempt, which was unique and memorable.

The plan involved hand-delivering full-color door hangers to the entire delivery area while most residents were at work. Consumers would arrive home in the evening to see door hangers lining the streets, which piqued curiosity. This increased sales dramatically after each wave of distribution. When pizzas were delivered to new customers, full color refrigerator magnets were included. The magnets acted as mini-billboards on refrigerators, which is where people generally start to look when they’re contemplating dinner options.

I lost my father and grandfather to complications from diabetes, so it was important to me to offer my services to a local organization that was raising funds for diabetes research. The image of the truck was a stylized photograph that I took of the best in show winner at the previous year’s event. This art was to be used for all promotions, including donated outdoor posters (billboards), posters, apparel, handouts, save-the-dates, all other collateral, and the website.
