Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. The heavens declare the glory of God; the sky proclaims its builder’s craft. One day to the next conveys that message; one night to the next imparts that knowledge. There is no word or sound; no voice is heard; Yet their report goes forth through all the earth, their message, to the ends of the world. God has pitched there a tent for the sun; it comes forth like a bridegroom from his chamber, and like an athlete joyfully runs its course. Amen We bless the God of heaven, And in the presence of all the living we will confess Him, Because He has dealt mercifully with us. Holy, holy, holy Lord God of Hosts. [8] Vigilate Vigilate, nescitis enim quando dominus domus veniat, Sero, an media nocte, an gallicantu, an mane. Vigilate ergo, ne cum venerit repente, Inveniat vos dormientes. Quod autem dico vobis, Omnibus dico: Vigilate. [9] Cantate Domino Cantate Domino canticum novum, cantate Domino omnis terra.

Father! For Thine is the Kingdom, The Power and the Glory, Forever and ever, Amen. Watch ye therefore for you know not when the lord of the house comes, at eventide, or at midnight, or at the cock crow, or in the morning: Watch therefore, lest coming all of a sudden, He finds you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch. O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth. Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; show his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders amongst all people. Hail Holy Lady, most holy queen, mother of God, Mary for ever a virgin, chosen by the most holy Father of Heaven, consecrated by Him with his most holy and most beloved Son and the Holy Ghost, You in whom lies the fullness of grace and all goodness! Hail, palace; hail, tabernacle, hail, dwelling-place; Hail, vestment, hail, handmaid, hail, mother of God! And hail to all your holy virtues who, by the grace and illumination of the Holy Spirit, are poured into the hearts of the faithful, And, faithless though we are, make us faithful to God!

Almighty, most holy, most high and sovereign God, Sovereign, universal and good; You who alone are good, may we offer you praise, glory, gratitude, honour, blessing; May we always bring to you everything that is good. Amen. Lord, I beg you, Let the burning and gentle force of your love pervade my soul And withdraw it from all that is below Heaven, That I might die for love of your love, Since you died for love of my love. O my dear brothers, Children blest for all eternity, Listen to me, listen to your Father’s voice: We have promised great things, We have been promised greater things; Let us preserve one and long for the other. Pleasure is short-lived, pain eternal. Suffering is light, glory infinite. Many are called but few are chosen, And all will receive what they merit. Amen. O LORD, our Governor, how excellent is thy name in all the earth, Thou who hast set thy glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, And hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; Thou hast put all things under his feet: All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, And whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. O LORD our Governor, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

[17] Oculi omnium Oculi omnium in te sperant, Domine: et tu das escam illorum in tempore opportuno. Gloria tibi, Domine. Amen. [18] Ego sum panis vivus Ego sum panis vivus. Patres vestri manducaverunt manna in deserto Et mortui sunt. Hic est panis de caelo descendens: Si qui ex ipso manducaverit non morietur [20] Remember not, Lord, our offences Remember not, Lord our offences, Nor the offences of our forefathers; Neither take thou vengeance of our sins: Spare us, good Lord, spare thy people, Whom thou hast redeemed with thy most precious blood, And be not angry with us for ever. Spare us, good Lord. [21] Popule meus Popule meus, quid feci tibi? Aut in quo contristavite? Responde mihi. Agios o Theos, Sanctus Deus, Agios ischyros, Sanctus fortis, Agios Athanatos eleison hymas. Sanctus immortalis, miserere nobis. Quia eduxite per desertum quadraginta annis, Et manna cibavite, Et introduxite in terram satis bonam

The eyes of all wait upon Thee, O Lord: And Thou givest them their meat in due season. Glory to Thee, O Lord. Amen I am the living bread. Your forefathers ate manna in the desert and are dead; This is the living bread from heaven: Whomsoever eats it shall not die. O my people, what have I done unto you? How have I offended you? Tell me! I led you out of the land of Egypt, But you led your Saviour to the cross. Holy is God! Holy is God! Holy and strong! Holy and strong! Holy and immortal, have mercy on us. Holy and immortal, have mercy on us. For forty years I led you through the desert, I fed you with manna, And led you to a land of plenty,

Parasti Crucem Salvatori tuo. Popule… [23] Lord, for Thy tender mercy’s sake Lord, for Thy tender mercy’s sake, Lay not our sins to our charge, But forgive that is past, And give us grace to amend our sinful lives. To decline from sin and incline to virtue, That we may walk in a perfect heart before thee, Now and evermore. Amen.

But you led your Saviour to the cross. O my people… Unto You I lift up my eyes, O You who dwell in the heavens. Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, So our eyes look to the Lord our God Until He has mercy on us. Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us! For we are exceedingly filled with contempt. Our soul is exceedingly filled With the scorn of those who are at ease, With the contempt of the proud.
