Born 1977 in Vienna; piano tuition at the Conservatories in Linz and in Graz, courses in Harmony and Counterpoint at Graz University of Music and Dramatic Arts, degree studies in Musicology and German language and literature at the Karl Franzens University of Graz (KFUG), 2003: Award of a doctorate in Musicology.External lecturer at the Institute of Musicology of the KFUG: for Compositi-onal Technique, Musical Analysis and for Historical Musicology; since 2003: editor for a publishing company, furthermore editor of critical fi rst editions, author of academic articles and papers on music, encyclopaedia entries and texts for concert programmes.His compositions include choral music, lieder, piano music and chamber music. Numerous of his works have already been successfully performed and have appeared with various publishers.

Prizes and awards for composition:� 1st prize in Category A “New Choral Songs” in the competition for composers

at the 2nd Oberwallis International Alpine Choir Festival for his choral piece Le clocher chante (The church tower sings, HI-C6669 � page 2). This work was fi rst performed in Brig, Switzerland, as part of the festival on September 25, 2010 by the European Chamber Choir of Cologne, conducted by Michael Reif.

� 2nd prize in the competition for composers held to celebrate the 125th anni-versary of the Choral Society of Upper Swabia 1885 e.V. for his choral piece Nächtliche Szene (Nocturnal scene, HI-C6431 � page 2). This work was fi rst performed in Wolfegg, Germany as part of the festival week on May 15, 2010 by the CantoBello vocal ensemble conducted by Wilfried Maier.

Missa anima integra Latin Mass for mixed choir SATB a cappella,optionally with instrumental accompaniment (organ and/or strings)

Following up the classic-romantic style, this new Latin Mass is marked by exceptio-nally rich and powerfully expressive melody and harmony. Radiant with joy, solemn and measured, insistent in lamentation, moving in contemplation, the Mass speaks directly to human emotions and refl ects faith, trust, hope and a zest for life. The optional, easy-to-perform organ and/or string (colla parte) accompaniment offers

additional performance alternatives, provides support for the vocal parts and lends the Mass an added festive splendour. The clarity of form, tonal disposition, moderate proportion, lo gical part-writing and balanced am bitus of the voices make this Mass easy for even small church choirs to sing on a variety of occasions.
