Poly spill containment solutions are chemically resistant.

Choose Polyethylene when:

• Storing corrosive or reactive chemicals, and

non-flammable liquids

• Storing liquids in high humidity areas

• Temperature extremes aren’t involved

• Cost is a concern

Steel is the best choice for storing flammables and chemicals that would degrade poly.

Choose Steel when:

• Storing solvents, fuels and other flammable

liquids

• Storing in less humid/corrosive environments

• Temperature extremes are involved

• Bonding & grounding points are needed

Given the risks when handling and storing corrosives, flammables and other hazardous liquids, a small investment of

time spent from the outset consulting with knowledgeable parties could avoid major regulatory headaches. And, it

could help reduce the risk of dangerous slips & falls, environmental damage a fire or an explosion at your facility.
