The 6 Series 4 cylinder range provides the best technology mix in its class. Deutz-Fahr has expanded its series offering two models with the 6130 (126hp) and 6140 (136hp), each of which are available with TTV or PowerShift transmissions.

From ploughing, sowing and cultivating to transporting, harvesting and front end loader work, the 6 Series tractors are as versatile as your daily work is varied.Maximum manoeuvrability, supreme efficiency and unparalleled operating comfort are trademark features of the Deutz-Fahr 6 Series.Like the 6 cylinder 6 Series, the high horse power 4 cylinder tractors come with powerful hydraulic systems as well as a range of hydraulic attachment points at the front and rear. Ultra-efficient FARMotion 3.8 litre engines (Tier 3) with an output from 126 to 136 hp (95 to 100 kW), ensure characteristically high performance and low fuel consumption.

The spacious cab provides the high level of operating and driving comfort that Deutz-Fahr is renowned for. With five specification variants in the range, Deutz-Fahr has added even more options to the technology mix.Comfort and quiet are essential for drivers who work long days and nights. Deutz-Fahr addresses these important issues; the 6 Series models are fitted as standard with cab suspension and double glazing that reduces noise and vibrations by up to 40%. The work space of the 6 Series 4 cylinder tractors boasts an impressive design. All of the controls for the engine, transmission, power take-off, hydraulic control valves and the lighting package, as well as the MMI for the InfoCentrePro are within easy reach, built into the side console to the right of the driver.The TTV models are operated using the new MaxCom joystick on the right armrest. The new InfoCentre Pro integrated into the steering console features a 5 inch colour display. This provides the driver with a continuous flow of information about the operational status of the tractor.

Next level productivity from the highly economical 6G series The Deutz-Fahr 6G Series tractors have raised the bar for styling, technology and productivity for modern high horsepower tractors. Building on a family look already seen in the existing 6RC and 6TTV models, the 6G replaced the M Series, and is turning heads up and down the country due to the broad base of standard features and the option to specify upgrades to meet individual circumstances. Looking at the range in more detail, the six variants, designated 6135G, 6155G, 6185G and 6205G offer maximum engine outputs of 141, 163, 190 and 203hp respectively. That power is delivered by a proven Deutz TCD 2012, 6-cylinder engine that meets Tier 3A emission regulations, thereby removing the need for any after treatments such as SCR or AdBlue, but still delivering fuel economy that competitive manufacturers dream about.Those models are further split into Vista and Summit formats, with the latter including a new adaptive front suspension

system with 120mm travel, anti-rise and anti-dive systems, locking diff and 50kph capability, while the Vista sees a new rigid front axle, limited slip diff, and 40kph.The ZF-sourced transmission features 30F and 15R speeds, delivered by 5 ranges and 6 power-shift steps, providing automated powershift changes, while the 6185G and 6205G, also benefit from automated range changes. Auto-shifting is based on engine load, so a simple dial up control allows operators to change shift points to suit a range of tasks that might include the heavy draft forces of cultivation, or the PTO loads imposed by baling. Ease of use is also the forte of the Sense Clutch function incorporated into the forward/reverse power shuttle operation, where a choice of five easily adjustable settings control the aggression of the clutch bite-point. In the hydraulic department, Vista versions utilise an open-centre system with up to 110 litres per minute flow, while the Summit delivers up to 125 L/min via its CCLS hydraulic pump.

The revised exhaust system excludes the need for SCR and DPF exhaust after treatment. This saves fuel and money whilst also negating the need to use after treatment additives (AdBlue). Add to this the choice of either a robotised shift system – letting the driver select all six ratios simply from the joystick without pressing the clutch pedal or shifting with a normal lever, or choose TTV giving you an uninterrupted infinite range of speeds from 0-50km/h.
