Transfer SheetsA chocolate transfer sheet is an acetate sheet with an edible design printed on one side. When melted chocolate (tempered couverture or coating) is applied to the sheet, the ink softens. As the chocolate cools and hardens, the design adheres, or “transfers”, to the chocolate creating a bold visual effect with a high gloss finish.

The use of a chocolate transfer sheet is a simple, yet excellent way to produce professional looking chocolates & desserts. Use our transfer sheets with magnetic molds & chablons or apply directly to a dipped confection. By taking advantage of our extensive library of pre-designed sheets, or creating a custom transfer sheet (see pages 16-17), the possibilities are truly endless!

Create customized chocolates easily with custom transfer sheets. They are simple to use with any type of chocolate (coating or couverture), and can be designed to fit a chablon, magnetic mold or other template.

All custom projects require a one-time set up fee for either a permanent design (recommended if you plan to reorder in the future) or a temporary design (one-time print only), and a 2 package (50 sheet) minimum. Once the design is approved and the order has been placed, you can expect to receive your sheets within 3 weeks. We offer a rush service for an additional fee upon availability.

Before placing an order, gather your artwork and choose a design format and colors using the guides below:

Artwork* - Images must be high resolution or vector formatted and may not contain gradients, shading or 3D effects. Images must be submitted in one of the following formats: .AI .EPS .PDF .PSD .JPG

Design - Choose a design template from one of the formats below:

Color - Chose your print color(s)**, maximum of 3, from the swatches below. (Brown, Tan and White do not contain artificial dyes)

Chablons can be used to create wafer-thin decorations, quickly and easily. We recommend using a chablon with chocolate and a transfer sheet, however they have a wide range of uses including templates for chocolate, baked goods, sugar and more. Our silicone chablons are manufactured in the USA from high quality silicone which makes them flexible yet durable, odorless and heat resistant up to 450 degrees. They will not shrink, warp or tear.

Colored Cocoa ButterUsing colored cocoa butter is one of the easiest ways to add a splash of color to your chocolates. Once warm and tempered, you can spray it, paint it, splatter it, mix it… adding brilliant color and shine to any piece. Our ChocoButter is pre tempered and only requires small increments of time in the microwave (or warm water bath) to become the prefect temperature to create a masterpiece. We currently offer 16 vivid colors… more coming coon!
