CHOCOLATE CHERRY COOKIES 1/2 cup margarine 1 teaspoon vanilla Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Remove the chocolate chips from the jar and set aside. Mix the vanilla and margarine together. Add the rest of the dry ingredients from the jar (all except the chocolate chips) and mix well. Drain the jar of maraschino cherries. Put a chocolate chip inside each cherry, then wrap about a teaspoon of dough around the cherry. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 12 to 15 minutes. Melt the remainder of the chocolate chips in the microwave and dip the top of cookies in the melted chocolate.
