of expertise and experience that can’t be matched!

• They are dedicated to student learning, supporting education staff, parents and helping out whenever and wherever they can!

Mark Linski … Behavior Consultant

Assists the school’s Learning Support Team to support student planning and programming around students with behavior, emotional and/or social needs and is involved with facilitating Violent Threat Risk Assessments.

Donelda Wygiera…Division Psychologist

Provides psycho-educational assessments as well as psychological consultation services for students with diverse and specialized learning needs.

Pam Dudar …

Early Learning Lead Teacher

Organizes ‘family oriented programming’ for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten children with diverse and specialized learning needs in collaboration with teachers and community agencies

Dean Nielsen…Student Services Coordinator

Collaborates with the school’s Learning Support Team to support student planning and programming. He has specialized knowledge and expertise in Assistive Technology and Inclusive Learning supports.

Dawn Weststrate…Early Intervention Coordinator

One on left

Provides support to ECS teachers and programs, as well as parents of children eligible for early childhood funding (formerly Program Unit Funding, or PUF) or Mild/Moderate programming support.

Dawn Normoyle …Student Services Coordinator

One on right

Collaborates with the school’s Learning Support Team to support student planning and programming. Dawn has specialized knowledge in Inclusive Learning supports and Specialized Services Coordination.

Joanne Crook…Family School Wellness Supervisor

Provides administrative and clinical support to the Family School Wellness Workers located at each school. Joanne assists with the Crisis Response team and is involved with facilitating Violent Threat Risk Assessments.

Lorrie Morris…Admin Assistant

Provides administrative support for the Student Services team and Division Office staff.

Wanda Christensen…Associate Superintendent

Liaisons with Alberta Education, two Regional Collaborative Service Delivery Partnerships, provincial and board initiatives, several external agency partnerships, as well as works closely and collaboratively with school staffs and the Student Services team.

Yikes! I have concerns about a student, what do I do?

• Follow steps outlined in document• Talk with Learning Support Teacher and/or

Administrator• Make a plan together to address concerns• Revisit plan and revise if concerns continue…• Talk with the “Learning Support Teacher’ and/or

‘Administrator’ to see if a member of the Student Services Team should be involved• Keep advocating until your concerns are

addressed
