5thJune, 2019: Reopening of the Vidyalaya:

Vidyalaya reopened for this academic year after the summer vacation for the staff on 5th June 2019 with a Guru Paduka Pooja performed by all the academic and non-academic staff.

6th June, 2019: Academic session starts for Class X and XII:

Students of Class X and Class XII, resumed their studies, after having a few weeks summer break in the months of April and May 2019. It was good to see them slowly acclimatizing themselves back to the Vidyalaya environment and taking up their studies and responsibilities seriously.

7th June, 2019: CVP Orientation for Vidyalaya staff:

Smt. Sumakalyani Ganti, one of the value education teachers of the Vidyalaya, conducted an orientation session for the entire staff, enlightening the new teachers and refreshing the other teachers; revisiting the concepts of the Chinmaya Vision Programme, the Chinmaya Mission, the life of our founder – Swami Chinmayanandaji and the start of the Chinmaya Education Movement. New staff were introduced, and welcomed into this Vidyalaya.

As GMR Shamshabad Chinmaya Vidyalaya welcomes Smt. Ch.B.S.Vani (Principal- Chinmaya Vidyalaya- Begumpet from 2015 to 2019) as their new Academic Advisor, looking up for an eminent leader, Chinmaya Vidyalaya- Begumpet welcomes Smt. P. Ramalakshmi as the new Principal of this Vidyalaya.

Having a rich experience of 23 years in the field of education, Smt. P.Ramalakshmi has completed her masters in English literature- MA-English, B.Ed. and believes in innovation and perfection. She was one of the few who presented a paper titled ‘A paradigm shift in imparting communication skills’ in an international conference organized at Nepal in 2013. She has previously worked at many schools , the latest one being Narayana Group of Schools (S.R.Nagar Branch) as a principal for the past ten years.

We welcome Smt. P.Ramalakshmi as the new principal of

this institution.

We also welcome Sri. Babu Rao as the new Academic Incharge of the Vidyalaya. With

the belief that success is not an accident, but a combination of hard work, perseverance,

learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, a keen love in what you are doing or learning to do,

is what has propelled him forward into our institution. With an experience of 15 years,

expertising in the subject of physics, he has previously worked in many prestigious corporate

colleges and has most recently been with Jain Heritage Cambridge School, Shameerpet as a

Principal.

We welcome Sri Babu Rao

as the new Academic Incharge of this institution.

12th June, 2019: Vidyalaya reopens for the students of Classes I to IX:

With the temperatures still soaring up, and the summer heat still lingering, Vidyalaya children came back after a long summer break of nine weeks. Slowly adjusting back to their school routines, it was a lively week for the teachers to see the corridors being filled up again with students, their earnest & excited voices, the cluttering sounds of their lunch bags and water bottles. The school became alive again with students filling up every nook and corner of the Vidyalaya building, and reiterating the rules of the school again.

17th June, 2019: Vidyalaya reopens for the students of Class XI:

Class XI also began its new academic sessions on the 17th of June. Smt. Sumakalyani Ganti conducted an orientation session for the students of Class XI on the concepts of CVP. Later Class XI incharge, Smt. Lavanya updated them with the rules & regulations, the do’s and don’t’s of the Vidyalaya.

21st June, 2019: International Yoga Day Celebrations & International Day of Music:

5th International Day of Yoga and International Music Day were celebrated in the Vidyalaya on 21st June 2019, with a spectacular display of yogasanas by the students of Class IX. The occasion was graced by Sw. Saakshiroopanandaji, Correspondent- Smt. Valli Prassana, Principal- Smt. RamaLakshmi, Vice Principal- Smt. Suneetha and Academic Incharge Sri. BabuRao.

Along with the display of Yogasans, celebration of Yoga Day also included taking a pledge after rendition of the Yoga Geeth by the choir children.

A melodious song was rendered by the Vidyalaya students on the occasion of International Music Day. It included both western and Indian Classical singing, accompanied by instruments.

“Swara leads to Eshwara” was the theme for this music day, which is also incidentally the motto of “Chinmaya NaadaBindu”- the Gurukul imparting fine arts to the students of the Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth.

International Yoga Day and International Music Day celebrations in the Vidyalaya

23rd June, 2019: CET conducted for CVV (Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyalaya)

The common entrance test for admission into the CVV (Chinmaya Vishwa VidyaPeeth) was held on 23rdJune 2019 at the Vidyalaya premises. A total of 13 students appeared for this exam. External examiners, invigilators and the admission team were thankful to Swami Advayanandaji and Geervani Amma on whose behest this examination was successfully conducted.

29th June, 2019: Orientation for Preprimary and Primary teachers:

Value Education is a concept that needs to be inculcated by students and teachers alike. It cannot be taught, it just needs to be caught. How to take a value education (which in Vidyalaya terms is also known as Balvihar) class should be known to all teachers. With this in mind, an orientation was conducted for all the pre primary and primary teachers by Smt. Parvathy Balaram and Smt. Sumakalyani Ganti, the value education teachers of the Vidyalaya.

15th June, 2019: CVP Orientation conducted for parents of LKG students:

All set for the little tiny tots of our ShishuVatika wing – our little Kindergarten children to start their formal schooling!! Inviting the parents for an orientation session in the Vidyalaya was the first step towards this task. Staff of the Kindergarten wing , along with their incharge, Smt. Hemalatha spoke to the parents, and made them comfortable in the premises. Previous incharge, Smt. Shashwati Sen was invited for interacting with the parents and informing the do’s and don’t’s of the Vidyalaya. Smt. Sumakalyani Ganti- one of the Value education teachers of the Vidyalaya took a session for these parents, introducing them to Gurudev, the Chinmaya Mission and the Chinmaya Vision Programme.

17th June, 2019: Vidyalaya reopens for the students of LKG and UKG:

ShishuVatika reopened on the 17th of June 2019 for both the LKG and UKG students. And what a scene it was!! Crying children, weeping children, scared children, glum & gloomy children, parent hugging children...but miraculously by the end of the day most of them had settled down. And by the next couple of days, one could sense the happiness of the children as they walked in with great delight, wishing ‘Hari Om’ to their teacher with bright and cheerful faces, spreading smiles and happiness as they entered their classrooms and started their Kindergarten education. Hats off to the teachers of this wing , who put in such

efforts and mould these children to be good students of this institution and global citizens of the word with the quality of universal oneness.

Other Laurels and Awards:

1) Chi. Krishna Sree Vallabh of Class IX participated in the 16th Okinawa Goju-Ryu

Karate Open International Championship 2019 organized by the Okinawa Goju-Ryu

Karate Federation, Malaysia from 3rd- 5th May, 2019 at Stadium IndraMulia,

Ipohperak, Malaysia. He won the gold medal in the Sparing category and the silver

medal in the Kata category.

Chi. Krishna Sree Vallabh being felicitated for his achievement in Martial Arts

2) Chi Hamsika Kura, now in Class VII, who has previously also won many laurels in the

field of Karate was featured in the Television program ‘Sakhi’ in ETV2. It was

telecasted on June 25th, 2019. Very recently, Chi. Hamsika participated in the

National Level of Karate Championship which was held at Gacchibowli from

18/1/2019 to 21/1/2019. This was organized by the Japan Karate Association of India

(JKAI). She won the gold medal (under-14 girls) in the Kumite style and won the

bronze medal in the Team Kumite Category.

3) Chi. Pranav of Class IX participated in the Under-14 Countryclub TableTennis

Tournament held at Country Club , Begumpet in May 2019. He won the 1st place and

was awarded with a trophy and a certificate.

4) Chi. Anushka Mohanty of Class III participated in a Kuchipudi Dance Performance on

the occasion of the 13th Anniversary of ‘SLB Kuchipudi Kalanilayam’ organized at

Ravindra Bharati, Hyderabad on 15th April, 2019. She has been awarded with a

certificate, a medal and a memento.

5) Chi. Shourya of Class VII and Chi. Dhairya of Class III acted in a short movie-

“Brothers”, bringing about awareness of how violence by vehicle drivers of school

going children brings about fear in them. Frequently talking to your child and

listening to their concerns is sufficient to ward off all their apprehensions.

6) Chi. SriMithra of Class V is a budding child actor having a few movies to his credit. He

has been acting since the past two years and has acted till now in four Telugu

movies- ‘Vinaya Vidheya Ramudu’, ‘Vijeta (New)’, ‘Aata AdukundamuRa’ and ‘ Intilo

Deyyam, Naaku Yemi Bhayyam’.

7) Chi Ayush participated in an “All India U-14 Cricket Tournament” organized bythe

Don Bosco Cricket Academy in the first week of August at the Academy itself. He

received the award for the best batsman, and a certificate of appreciation.

8) Chi. Jaswanth of Class IX participated in a Karate event organized by Vemula Ramesh

of Uneversal Shotokon Martial Arts Organization, on 21st January, 2019 at Maithry

Cricket Ground ,Patancheru, Telangana , India. His name was entered into “High

Range“ Book of world records for most number of full contact kicks in one hour, and

he was awarded a certificate of the same.

We sadly mourn the demise of one of our Vidyalaya student, Chi. Daksh Jain of Class VI,

who passed away after a very brief illness (The Fatal Steven Johnson Syndrome). Students and

staff are deeply saddened by this sudden event. Entire Vidyalaya stood in silence for two

minutes as a mark of respect. It was very difficult for students of Class VI to believe that their

ever friendly, cheerful, smiling and bubbly friend, whom they played with the previous week is

no more. Entire Vidyalaya joins them in their payers to give the bereaved family enough

strength to bear this irrepairable loss.

We pray for the family of our Vidyalaya student Daksh Jain of

Class VI, whose sudden demise has shocked us. May the Almighty give strength to all his near and dear one to bear this

loss.
