The Conjunction 或者 huòzhě , orHuòzhě 或者 is another conjunction meaning ”or”, similar to háishì 还是。However, 还是 háishì is used only in questions, 或者 huòzhě is used only in statements.

A. Nǐ xiǎng mǎi shénme ?

B. Wǒ xiǎng mǎi yìtiáo qúnzi huòzhě kùzi .

A. Nǐ xǐhuān hēsè de háishì báisè de?

B. Wǒ xǐhuān hóng sè huòzhě báisè de.

A. 你帮我看看，我穿裙子好看还是穿裤子好看？B. 我觉得你穿这条裙子好看。

A.zhè tiáo qúnzi duō shǎo qián? (How much money is this skirt?)

B.shí wǔ kuài. (Fifteen dollars)
