Breakfast and lunch included. Visit the Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, which

served as the home of emperors andthe ceremonial and

political center of Chinese government. Enjoy an a la carte

lunch which is served at a very nice restaurant allowing you

to sample authentic Chinese food. In the afternoon, visit the

Temple of Heaven.

DAY 03 - BEIJING

10 NOVEMBER Tuesday

Breakfast and lunch included. Welcome to Beijing, capital of the People’s Republic of

China where on the outskirts, the Summer Palace and the

impressive Chinese wall are all situated. Retrieve the

luggage,and meet the guide outside the Customs area, then

transfer to the Pentahotel Beijing. The rest of the day is on

your own to explore.

DAY 08 - XIAN

15 NOVEMBER Sunday

Breakfast and Lunch After visiting the City Wall in the morning a visit to a

local family and lunch will be arranged in the home of

the family. This affords the group the opportunity to

taste the authentic home-cooked Chinese dishes. In the

afternoon, continue to the

Grand Mosque for a visit.

DAY 06 - BEIJING TO XIAN

13 NOVEMBER Friday

Breakfast. Visit the Summer Palace and have a Hutong

tour.Travel between Beijing and Xian by the second

class high speed train in 5.5 hours and transfer to the

hotel in Xian.

DAY 07 – XIAN

14 NOVEMBER Saturday BreakfastVisit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. In

the afternoon, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the

Provincial History Museum.The Terracotta Army is a

collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies

of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. Lunch is

on your own.

Visit the Reed Flute Cave, the Seven Star Park and the Elephant

19 November Thursday

Breakfast and Lunch Visit the Shanghai Museum and the Yuyuan Garden. Enjoy an a

area,and cruise on the Huangpu River. Explore the waterfront

Weather and Clothing: What to wear in China in November. Daytime clothing: a suit, jacket, sweater, and coat.

Evening clothing: a thick coat, sweater, jacket, or other

warm clothes.

Beijing: The climate throughout November in Beijing at the beginning

of the second ten day period of the month translates into the

presence of a very mild sun that suggests that the days can be

beautiful but very cold - especially in the hours after the

sunrise and sunset of the sun. As a result, a few snowflakes

appear even if these are not yet abundant.

Xian: Xian weather in November is extremely cold with

temperatures of 2° and 13° degrees, as result gloves and

warm clothes are recommended.Chances for rain are low but

possible.Snow fall is possible.

Guilin: The climate in november in Guilin is quite dry and pleasant in November. The high seasonal norm is 22°C with a

minimun of 13°C.

Shanghai: November is in the heart of autumn and yet the atmosphere in

Shanghai remains pleasantly gentle. Since the rains are

relatively weak, one can count on many beautiful days to

perfect their stay. In fact, the weather in Shanghai throughout

November is still nice.

Money Matters: Currently there are seven main foreign credit cards

available in China, including Visa, MasterCard,

American Express, Diners Club, JCB, Federal and Million. Credit cards can be used for withdrawing

money, shopping and other transactions in most major

cities of the country, but generally not accepted in rural areas.
