1. Project Manager (AU) In Australia, you gain access to

a dedicated Import Project Manager. Their job is to: • Manage your import project• Liaise between you and the

factory• Consult on trade matters• Provide document

management• Recommend best practice

Based in Sydney, we act as member of your team, reporting to you on all the big issues, maintaining the document trail and acting as the go between.


2. Quality Manager (CN) In China you get your own dedicated Quality Manager, who will be there at

the factory representing your business and providing you with:

• Daily reports and live updates• Quality inspection

• A window into your factory• Strategies for manufacturing improvements

You get the latest information - good and bad -so you can make better decisions !


3. Project Management (Cloud)

You receive access to your own import project management schedule online, where you will find:

• Your customised project management sheet, daily activity updates

• Inspection reports • Order contracts, all signed and stored• Change requests

How do you get started?

Step 1:

We meet to discuss your project requirements. During this meeting you provide us with important information about your products, including:

Product specifications Product standards Sample information Project deadlines Shipper contact information

You can upload your information directly to Smartsheet, where we have a permanent record of all our shared information.

Step 2:

Once we have a comprehensive understanding of your project, we will select your China based Quality Manager and send you details about their experience.

We set up your customised Smartsheet project management schedule and send you a link so you can access it 24/7.

We introduce you to your dedicated Australian Project Manager so they can get started on your import project.

Step 3:

Your project is up and running and we report to you on a daily basis or you can check your project schedule on Smartsheet to find out where your project is at.

The only additional work required by you is:• Pay the factory• Make decisions about orders, changes and quality issues as

they arise• Book your shipping


What about your Intellectual Property?At China Blueprint we work with customers and their intellectual

property on a daily basis.

Firstly let us say, if you have a Confidentiality contract, then we would be happy to sign it.

Secondly, we will want to have a conversation with you about your IP in China and with regards to your factory there. Whilst we are not lawyers, we can certainly give you advice on certain elements of maintaining the integrity of your property in China, plus we can also point you in the direction of good legal advisors.


The Cost

Once we understand the complexities of your project we will provide you with a full cost proposal.

We have designed our services to be affordable, flexible and easy to manage.

FAQ’s

1. Where are you invoiced?You are invoiced from our Australian office, including GST.

2. What holidays will my China Quality Manager be entitled to?China Quality Managers are entitled to 10 days holiday plus ordinary public holidays in China. This can be negotiated at the time to ensure your project requirements are met as priority.

3. Why is this different to booking an inspection when I need it?Having your own team working for you around the clock means they can be responsive to your needs. Complex import projects change from minute to minute and you need dedicated people with intimate product knowledge available to look after your interests. Casual inspectors are unlikely to have a good knowledge of your specific requirements and they won’t speak to the factory or negotiate on your behalf. This means they are not focussed on the outcome – ie getting great products, they are purely focussed on getting the inspection completed.

4. What jobs do my project manager and quality inspector do?Your quality manager in China is experienced in inspection and quality assurance. Things they would normally do within this scope include; inspecting factories, inspecting goods, reviewing the production line and reporting on quality issues.

Your Project Manager in Australia handles more of the day to day business of your project. They provide reports, manage your contracts, negotiate with your supplier, maintain your Import Project Management online and liaise directly with you.

5. What is the minimum length I can employ someone on an Import Pro PackageWe offer 6 and 12 month contracts.

6. Does China Blueprint ever get a commission from the Factory ?Plain and simply – never. We want to remain impartial and ensure your best interests are always represented and so it is our policy to never take a commission from any factory.
