  • A skiers paradise

One of the benefits for skiers in Chile is that the ski season runs during the summer in the Northern Hemisphere, which allow visitors have amazing ski center to enjoy. the huge variety of resorts are located within a variety of landscapes such as volcanoes, glaciers, forest and mountains. some resorts are very close to santiago, allowing guests to enjoy the rhythm of the city at night while being able to ski during the day. Others however offer a total respite from the city, located in the middle of Patagonian and lush forest areas. For those after a serious adrenaline rush, we recommend off-piste skiing and even Heli-skiing.

daY 2 CoLCHaGUaAccommodation at the hotel via la Playa.Drive through the small and typical chilean country side and see how the central valley is generous not only on vineyards but also for fruits and vegetables in general, doing this region one of the main producer areas due to the Mediterranean climate. Different wineries and methods, restaurants, museums and artists are open for you to visit.

daY 3 CoLCHaGUa / CEntRaL CoastAccommodation at the Hotel del Martoday, we invite you to start a different and contrasting drive to the central coast. You will have two different ways to do it, one easy but also wonderful route through modern highways, and also a more demanding internal route that will show you the central valley in depth. independently the way today you will reach valparaso & via del Mar, closes but quite different cities that offers culture, history in an exquisite combination of colorful houses of valparaso, and residential mansions of via del Mar. During your visit to valparaso, we suggest you a stop at the chilean Nobel Prize-winning poet Pablo Nerudas valparaiso residence, la sebastiana. the house is full to the brim with the eccentric genius keepsakes from his many trips abroad, as well as an extensive library. Further north along the coast you will find the city of Via del Mar which is one of chiles most fashionable beach resorts. the town was founded in 1874 as a weekend retreat and garden residence for the wealthy elite from valparaso and santiago, and it has remained a top beach destination for santiaguinos ever since. daY 4 CEntRaL Coast / santIaGoAccommodation at the hotel Atton El Bosque or vitacura. After your last visits in valparaso or via del Mar, we recommend to start your drive to santiago to discover one of the most developed cities in south America, combining urban environment that artfully unites classic and modern architecture. chiles cultural heritage comes to life through iconic symbols of the city such as the Palacio de la Moneda Presidential, designed by italian architect Joaqun toesca and opened in 1805 while still under construction. the Plaza de Armas is the citys most famous square surrounded by some beautiful buildings including the impressive Cathedral and Central Post Office (Plaza de Armas will be under refurbishments from Jan 2014 and for 6 months so it will be closed for public). At a short walk away is the Museum of pre-Hispanic Art, with over 700 exhibits, showing the countrys most important collection of pre-Hispanic artwork. Just off the bustling Alameda - the citys main thoroughfare - lies the delightful Barrio concha y toro neighborhood, with its charming plaza and colonial architecture. Another interesting point of the city is the cerro san cristobal, a tall hill rising nearly 1000 feet above the city, located inside the citys largest urban park. During your exploration, you can also drive through the most modern areas of the city with its impressive high rise buildings, embassies and mansions, deluxe hotels, and immaculate tree-lined boulevard, providing a contrast to the more traditional constructions seen earlier in the day. daY 5 santIaGo, dEPaRtURE.On due time, start your self-drive back to santiago airport
