The annual golf tournament is the primaryfund-raiser for Children's Emergency Resources, Inc.It is an important source of funds for helping thechildren of indigent families in Martin County withemergency medical needs. We are asking allcommunity members and local businesses to pitch inand help us help the children in any way they can.
Children's Emergency Resources, Inc. isfunded in part by United Way but it must raise fundswith organization events in order to help the childrenand continue to receive funding from United Way.
Through the networking initiative with healthprofessionals in every school in Martin County, CERIkeeps up-to-date on community needs. It hassupplied wheelchairs, nebulizers, eye glasses, hearingaids, medication, dental services, lice treatment, fundsfor emergency medical services and many otherhealth related services to the children in Stuart,Jensen Beach, Port Salerno, Indiantown, Hobe Soundand Palm City.
Children's Emergency Resources, Inc. hasminimal overhead, one part-time paid staff and nooffice. All directors are unpaid volunteers.
