"Children of Heaven" is a 1997 Iranian film by Majid Majidi (Original language title : Bacheha- Ye Aseman ). It was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 1998 but lost to the Italian film "Life Is Beautiful" by Roberto Benigni. Majid majidi’s other notable films include : The Color of Paradise (2000), Baran (2001).
