Foundational DrawingTuesdays, February 28, March 7, 14, 21.6 – 8 pm@ LACCome back to the basics with this class geared to all level of artist. Use still life to build your foundational drawing skills. Working in charcoal, pencil, and pastel, train your artist’s eye to see shapes, lights, darks, proportion and color. Linocut Relief Multi-Color Print Making WorkshopSaturday, May 27, 9 am - 2 pm Sunday, May 28, 9 am - 2 pm@ 320 StudioMake prints using the subtractive method to create multi-color images with accurate registra-tion (color line ups.) We will also experiment with the blending of inks or the use of other smaller blocks to get even more opportunities to introduce color into the basic principle of printing from a single carved block. If partici-pants have any linoleum blocks previously used, please bring them. There are often possibilities to use them in new ways.
