Introduction
The topic that I will be focusing on is child abuse. I decided to go with this topic because it is interesting and gives people an insight to a person's life. It also opens you up to learning new things and allowing others to be appreciative for not being a victim of child abuse. Child abuse can be defined in different ways such as physical, sexual, emotional/psychological, and neglect.
Method
Overt Observations on there behavior
Three interviews on each victim
Gaining access/making the person feel comfortable
Questions
Why are children subjected to child abuse?
Do all children grow up to be like there offender?
What precautions do they have to take to heal?
What went on in their minds as this went on?
How did it affect their relationships with others around them?
How are you able to cope with everyday life after going through child abuse at a young age?
Do you believe this will affect your identity as a person?

Deviance + Child Abuse
The relation between deviance and child abuse is the criminal act intended.
The victim accepts the deviant behavior from there offender because they are usually afraid.
Settings
New York City Buffalo, New York
Findings
Children that are abused have a difficult time growing up and accepting what happened.
Not all children grow up to be offenders
Something interesting that I found out was that when females are abused they are more likely to become pregnant at a young age.
Children blame themselves for what happened and they often have low self esteem.
They have difficulties opening up to talk to people about what they went through.
Further Research
I would interview people I don’t know who has been abused as a child
Try to interview an offender
Observe more patterns and behaviors
