Norma’s Cafe and the Dallas Stars Foundation are excited to present the 5th annual Texas Chicken Fried
Steak Day Fundraiser. For the past 4 years, we have held an exclusive bus tour to raise funds for Dallas
charities, raising over $55,000. For our 5th celebration, we’d like to invite Dallas Stars fans, Chicken Fried
Steak aficionados and the general public to partake in the fun!
We are excited to partner again with the Dallas Stars Foundation for the 3rd year and raise money for a
multitude of community programs that they support so generously. We’d like to invite you to join us as
we support Dallas Fort Worth with a fun and exciting new event. This is a unique opportunity to align
with the Dallas Stars and the Dallas Stars Foundation while reaching out to a wide audience through
marketing, public relations and the actual event!
Event Description:
Come one, come all to the first Texas Chicken Fried Steak Day Festival! This fundraising event will be held at 3015 at Trinity Groves in South Dallas. The 7,000 sq ft open floor plan will enable the space to
throw the greatest Chicken Fried Steak festival DFW (or the world) has ever seen.
Guests will be greeted with valet and a Texas Longhorn photo-op. Once they have walked in, we’ll have a live band performing and a silent auction kicking off. Situated around the perimeter, Stars fans will find
10 different Chicken Fried Steak and Texas Themed Food Stations. For those that want to wet their
whistle, there will be 2 bars on either end of the venue.
We’re planning everything down to the last detail; we just need your help to pull it all off. Your generous
contribution will help fund the event as well as provide the needed supplies to keep the party going with
the ultimate goal of raising the most amount of funds for the Dallas Stars Foundation!
