Following tomorrow's series fi nale at Safeco Field, Chicago will continue the trip with four games at the Los Angeles Angels.The Sox went 2-8 on their last trip to Texas (1-2), Cincinnati (1-2) and Houston (0-4) from 6/29-7/8.</p><p>TODAY'S STORYLINESThe White Sox are looking to win consecutive games on the road for the fi rst time since 6/5-6 at Minnesota, and win their fi rst road series since 6/8-10 at Boston.The Sox have lost six of the last seven games, 12 of 15 and 19 of 26 on the road (scored three or less 15 times in the 25 games).Chicago is 2-6 over the last eight games vs. Seattle despite owning a 30-27 edge in runs scored the club has won four of fi ve and is 7-5 in the last 12 contests at Safeco Field.White Sox starters own a 2.26 ERA (14 ER/55.2 IP) and .201 opponents average over the last eight games since 7/8.Avisal Garca has hit safely in 13 of his last 14 games, going 21-60 (.350) with three doubles, two triples, nine home runs, 15 RBI and a .1282 OPS he owns four multiRBI eff orts.</p><p>LAST NIGHT'S RECAPDylan Covey limited Seattle to just two hits, and Avisal Garca hit a three-run home run in the fourth inning to lead Chicago to a 5-0 win, its fi fth shutout victory of the season.Covey held the Mariners hitless through the fi rst fi ve innings before surrendering a single to Dee Gordon in the sixth.He walked two and struck out fi ve in a career-high 8.1 score-less IP for his fi rst win since 6/13 vs. Cleveland.Garca homered in his fi rst game after returning from the disabled list Leury Garca (RBI single) and Tim Anderson (sacrifi ce fl y) drove in the White Sox other two runs.Yolmer Snchez and Omar Nrvaez recorded the Sox two multihit eff orts Nrvaez reached base three times.</p><p>OH SO CLOSEDylan Covey allowed just two hits in 8.1 scoreless IP last night, the longest scoreless outing by a White Sox starter this season.The last Sox starter to work at least 8.1 scoreless IP in an outing was Miguel Gonzalez (also 8.1) on 9/28/16 vs. Tampa Bay.Covey also fell two outs shy of recording Chicago's fi rst com-plete game since 9/16/16 at Kansas City (Chris Sale).</p><p>STARTING POINTChicago starters are 4-4 with a 2.26 ERA (14 ER/55.2 IP) and .201 opponents average (40-199) over the last eight games the 2.26 ERA is the lowest in MLB since 7/8.Six of the outings have been quality, and starters have allowed two earned runs or less six times (worked 7.0-plus IP fi ve times).</p><p>HE'S ON FIRE AVI-OUSLYAvisal Garca has hit safely in 15 of his last 16 games since 6/23, batting .333/.347/.826 with three doubles, two fi ve doubles, fi ve homers, 10 RBI and a 1.009 OPS in 19 games with Charlotte this season.</p><p>HOT STARTINF Nick Madrigal has hit safely in each of his fi rst four games with Class A Kannapolis,
