    Chicago  Restaurant  Guide    

    Chicago  is  home  to  the  some  of  the  most  extraordinary  dining  experiences  in  the  world.  There   are  hundreds  of  wonderful  restaurants  to  choose  from  that  are  within  a  few  miles  of  the   conference  location.  The  Chicago  Local  Events  Committee  chose  to  narrow  down  this  guide  to   include  a  sample  of  our  recommendations  for  a  variety  of  tastes,  pocketbooks  and  also  to   encourage  you  to  get  out  and  experience  Chicago  neighborhoods.    This  list  illuminates   Chicago’s  dining  prestige  but  also  its  eclectic,  ethnic  and  culturally  interesting  cuisine.       If  you  wish  to  also  explore  more  comprehensive  dining  guides,  we  recommend  the  following   sources:

    Cheesies  $   American   Lakeview,  958  W  Belmont  Ave   http://cheesieschicago.com/   Specializing  in  creative  grilled  cheese  sandwiches  and  craft  beers  where  all  drinks  are  4$   this  casual  place  is  sure  to  please.  Also  check  out  their  25$  sandwich/mimosa  weekend   brunch  special.       Nuevo  Leon  $     Mexican,  BYOB,  Cash  Only   1515  W  18th  St   House-­‐made  tortillas  &  other  Mexican  standards  fill  the  menu  at  this  colorful  restaurant.

    Open  late,  this  hippy-­‐run  cafe  has  no  business  being  in  Wrigleyville.  Nonetheless,  it's  a   great  low-­‐key  place  serving  breakfast  anytime  as  well  as  a  deep  selection  of  beer  and   coffees.
