Effective educational leaders help their schools to develop visions thatembody the best thinking about teaching and learning. Good school

leaders are the keystones of good schools.

Educational leader should endeavor to balance their leadership and

managerial responsibilities in a way that will move their respective

schools forward. They are expected to take up the responsibilities

associated with effective coordination. Leadership after all is a matterof guiding a community to realize its potential.

School leadership is most successful when it is focused on teaching

and learning. Leadership function must be distributed across formal

and informal roles in schools with maximum coordination coupled with

    shared responsibilities.
