CHEP CCC has developed an alternative to regular circular drums to unload, transport and store spent hydro-processing catalysts. These CHEP Catalyst Bins offer 10 times a volume of regular barrels or drums, hence QUALITY VERSUS QUANTITY.

With CHEP Catalyst Bins we enable refiners to unload their catalyst in an efficient, less time consuming and safe way, compared to drums, optimizing the total costs of the shut down operation.

These Catalyst Bins are available to the Petrochemical industry on a world wide scale with regional offices to provide all the Catalyst Bins and services required by our customers on a local bases.

CHEP Catalyst Bins compromise the following features:

• UN 11 A/X approval for the transport of dangerous goods

• Four way forklift entry and pick up• 2000 liter volume which equals 10 regular drums• 4 lifting lugs for safe and direct hoisting• Hinged top lid 400 mm in diameter• 4 Stacking pads for safe & space saving storage

The design of the CHEP CCC Catalyst-Bin is in such a way that these Catalyst-Bins can be stored outside and can be stored two high (also in a full condition). The top lid covers the opening and lets (rain) water run off naturally.

Every CHEP CCC Catalyst-Bin is UN/11A/X approved for road-, rail- and even maritime transports. The 0,2 bar pressure test that is performed on every individual CHEP CCC Catalyst-Bin gives you maximum guarantee on a hermetically sealed (inert) environment for your catalyst.
