CHEMISTRY Chemistry: A Central Science Chemistry is often referred to as the central science because it not only links and contributes to most other sciences. It also lies at the heart of the many solutions to today’s problems like monitoring air pollution, developing environmentally sustainable fuel, making new medicines etc. The B.Sc. (Hons) Chemistry programme at NUS is accredited to the Royal Society of Chemistry. The talk will describe the curriculum which gives students a good understanding of Chemistry concepts and opportunities to specialise in one of the more applied domains. The talk will also show the diverse spectrum of interesting career opportunities. Chemistry: A Central Science

Chemistry is often referred to as the central science because it not only links and contributes to most other sciences.
