Installation of Pumps
Pump should be raised for easily connect suction Lines
Pump should be easily accessible for maintenance
No pipe line should be routed above the pump which restricts accessibility and removal of pump
Take special care If Pump using Electrical/Pneumatic activators it need more space for pump installation

Installation and minimum requirement of tanks
Legs of vertical tanks/Saddle of Horizontal Tanks should have a base beam in the skid frame
All tanks should have Ladder if height is more than 2mts and place near by Level gauge for easily access level gauge top nozzle valves
Man way should be in accessible area with appropriate elevation for easy access
All Tanks should have internal ladder
All Tanks should have minimum 2 no's of earth bosses

Skid Frames
Skid should have a peripheral base frame for support all items in the skid
Skid should have internal supports/stiffeners maximum span of 900 mm for support grating
Skid should have minimum 4 Lifting Lug/ Trunnion support for lifting
Skid should have Minimum 2 No's of Earth Boss/Lug/cleat for Earthling
Skid should have Drip pan if asked by client (CS/SS upon client)

Ladder hand rail and Platforms
Ladder and platforms are mandatory if anything need to access on top of the tank
All monkey ladder should have minimum width of 400 mm and distance between rungs should be 250 mm if client spec. not available

Level Gauge and Level transmitters
Level gauge should be near to ladder and loading line
Level gauge drain valve should have sufficient height if it is connecting to common drain header

Tank Manway
All tanks should have Man way/Hand hole According to size of the tank/P&ID
Man way cover should be easily removable and ensure there is enough space for swing the man way cover with Davit
Man way should be placed near side wall of vertical tank for access the inside rungs ladder

Goose Neck went with flame arrestor
Minimum 1 mts of height required for Gooseneck vent
If flame arrestor mentioned in the P&ID confirm with project s which type of Flame arrestor are going to use

PRV
All PRV should be installed top of the tanks
PRV. should be accessible for maintenance /calibration
PRV. Outlet line should be sloped towards tank nozzle for drain completely

Return lines

All return lines should be neatly arranged and properly supported
All return lines should be sloped towards tank return nozzle for easy drain and any expansion in return line and if it is horizontal should use eccentric reducer only

Loading lines should be easily accessible elevation and near to Level gauge for clear view of filling

Injection line valves should be easily accessible for operation
For easy operation and maintenance of pump no discharge line should be routed above the pump
All PD,PG,PRV&PT shall be Visible, accessible and have space for replacement
If required all the above said items shall be branched separately for easy operation and maintenance
