About the Race The Albert Bartlett Novices Hurdle, known officially as the Spa Novices Hurdle, is the premier 3 mile stayers' novice hurdle in the UK. Elevated to Grade 1 status in 2008, it has been won by a couple of horses that have gone on to successful steeplechase careers, including 2013 Cheltenham Gold Cup champion, Bobs Worth.

Albert Bartlett Novices HurdlebetHQ Tip Barters Hill has it all, a top rating, an unbeaten record and proven stayer credentials. He's very generously priced, so get him while he's still above Evens.

About the Race The 2 mile 179 yard Triumph Hurdle is perhaps the most prestigious novice hurdles event at the Cheltenham Festival. Entry is restricted to 4-year-olds and there are eight hurdles to be jumped in the race.

Despite being run over the same distance as the Champion Hurdle, surprisingly few winners of the Triumph Hurdle have gone on to win Cheltenham's 2 mile hurdles championship.

The Triumph HurdlebetHQ Tip Footpad fits the profile of a Triumph Hurdle Champion and offers a great price to boot. He's our pick for the 2016 Triumph Hurdle.

About the Race The Ryanair Chase features 17 fences, and has become a natural progression for horses who competed in the JLT Novices Chase. It has also blooded a Cheltenham Gold Cup champion, with Imperial Commander winning the Ryanair Chase a season before taking the Gold Cup.

Ryanair ChasebetHQ Tip There's some good value to be had with the favourites likely to run elsewhere and the field yet to resolve itself. Our pick is Al Ferof, whose price is likely to plummet beyond reach of an each-way bet as the favourites are pulled from this field.

About the Race The JLT Novices Chase is one of the newer additions to the Cheltenham Festival, and will be run for the 6th time in 2016. It's the festival's only chase run over a distance of 2 miles 4 furlongs and features 17 fences.

The JLT Novices Chase has already been won by a couple of quality horses, with both Sir Des Champs and Vautour picking up the race titles.

JLT Novice’s ChasebetHQ Tip Bristol De Mai offers the best combination of class and value, if you can get him each-way while he's still trading around the 4/1 mark. If his price drops below this threshold, rather opt for Outlander.

About the Race Covering a distance of 3 miles and half a furlong, the RSA Chase features 19 fences. Over the last decade or so the race has often been used to prepare horses to compete in the Cheltenham Gold Cup in later seasons.

This reflects in the winners roll of the RSA Chase, which includes Gold Cup champions like Lord Windmere, Bobs Worth and Denman.

RSA ChasebetHQ Tip Outlander edges out Seeyouatmidnight as our early tip thanks to his recent wins in Grade 1 and 2 chases.

About the Race Run over 2 miles 5 furlongs it features ten hurdles and gets the action underway on the second day of the Cheltenham Festival.

The Neptune Investment Management Novices Hurdle has launched the careers of some of the biggest hurdles stars in the history of jumps racing, including Istabraq, Hardy Eustace and Faugheen.

Neptune Novices HurdlebetHQ Tip Yorkhill has the best form and rating in the field, and gets our vote ahead of the underpriced Yanworth. Put an each-way bet on him while you can still get him above 4/1.

About the Race The Mares Hurdle is also one of the newer races at the Cheltenham Festival, with the inaugural race run in 2008. In the short time since then it has broken a long-standing Cheltenham Festival record with Quevega taking six consecutive race titles. This series of performances broke the five win record set by Golden Miller in the Gold Cup in 1936.

Mares HurdlebetHQ Tip Your best bet for this race is Vroum Vroum Mag. If she instead runs in the World Hurdle, then Annie Power's big moment at the festival might finally have arrived.

About the Race Run as the feature race of the final day of the Cheltenham Festival it features the finest middle distance steeplechase racehorses competing on a 3 mile 2.5 furlong course with 22 fences.

The most notable thing about the Cheltenham Gold Cup is that it's one of two jumps races that draws a wide audience from outside the racing community.

Cheltenham Gold CupbetHQ Tip Don Cossack finds himself up against a really tough field here, but is the only horse we can see assured of a place, let alone a win. At 4/1 at Betfred he'll return your full stake on each-way bets if he fails to take the win, so get him while he's still available at this price.

About the Race The race has a tendency to produce multiple winners. Most recently Big Buck's set a race record by taking four consecutive World Hurdle victories, and since 2000 four horses have taken two or more victories in the race, accounting for around two thirds of all titles won during this period.

World HurdlebetHQ Tip You need to get value where you find it in the World Hurdle, and Vroum Vroum Mag offers just that as a true staying mare on a winning streak.

About the Race The Queen Mother Champion Chase is one of a handful of national hunt races that can turn racehorses into national celebrities, with the likes of Moscow Flyer and Master Minded rising to prominence after achieving multiple wins in the race.

Queen Mother Champion ChasebetHQ Tip Un De Sceaux is deserving of his favourite billing but isn’t where you’ll make money. Our tip is on Sire De Grugy to sneak a place in the Champion Chase and reward each-way backers with a solid payout.

About the Race A number of Arkle Challenge Trophy winners have gone on to win the Queen Mother Champion Chase, with two horses achieving the Arkle and Champion Chase double since 2010.

The Arkle Challenge TrophybetHQ Tip Douvan is a worthy antepost favourite - pick up him up at Paddy Power’s best price

About the Race The Champion Hurdle needs little introduction.

The most prestigious hurdles race in national hunt racing is run over a distance of 2 miles by the highest rated hurdles racehorses in the sport. Eight hurdles are jumped during the course of the race.

bethq.com

The Champion HurdlebetHQ Tip With major bookies offering no-runner insurance on the Champion Hurdle you can get your bets in early. Nichols Canyon is our pick – priced just high enough to pay out a return on each way bets.

About the Race The curtain-raiser for the Cheltenham Festival is also one of the most heavily bet on races at the meeting. Run over a distance of 2 mile 87 yards, the Supreme Novices Hurdle features 8 hurdles and attracts the leading novices hurdlers over 2 miles in the UK.

bethq.com

Supreme Novices HurdlebetHQ Tip Supreme Novices Hurdle has produced a convincing antepost favourite in Min. Given his feats this season his antepost price is generous and likely to drop as the race approaches, so he's our early tip for this race.
