Wings Over Florida RulesThe “Wings Over Florida” butterfly program awards full color

certificates at six achievement levels to butterfly watchers who report their life lists to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail. This program is a free service to residents and non-residents.

Official Rules

1. No Exotic species can be counted; no captive, escaped butterflies can be counted.

2. All butterflies listed must be alive, wild, and unrestrained when observed.

3. All butterflies listed must be identified by sight by the person submitting the application.

4. Only one individual may be listed on each certificate awarded.

Application Instructions

1. Fill out all the fields on the application sheet. Only one applicant per application sheet. Be sure to include your final total and circle the certification level(s) for which you are applying.

2. Mail this checklist to the following address:
