expression of love and
kindness to all of
us at Clearview Home
leaves our hearts full of
love and joy that will long

Hope, the Promise and
the Glory of God’s Love

happiness to your home
and joy to your life. Hop-
ing you
know how special you are
December 2015 Holiday joy is abounding here at Clearview! Jeani spent all day November 30
th decorating our home and still has
to put up and decorate the big tree in the living room. The fireplace is on and the decorations on the mantel
give it a warm cozy feel. December is always a wonder-ful time to gather around the fireplace in our cozy living room and visit with your loved ones and their friends.
Thanksgiving 2015
We welcomed over 20 guests for Thanks-giving dinner this year. It is always such a blessing to see all of these wonderful smil-
ing faces blessing our home!

and grandsons Adam and Tyler Allee. RIGHT: Evy Stevenson was visited
by her son Ed, daughter-in-law Georgia and grand-son Mike.
November’s Visitors We are always so blessed to receive many visitors each day. Our staff and especially resi-

in!
Thankfulness Through the month of November we fo-
cused on Thankfulness! Our corkboard,
which typically holds notes of appreciation
for our staff members, was decorated with
a center piece that read “A thankful heart
is a happy heart” and notes that began
with “Today I am Thankful for” and passers-
by filled in what they were thankful for.
At activities throughout the month we
talked about what we are thankful for, our
families, our health, a wonderful place to
live and work, the list goes on.
November 21st we had a “Celebration of
Thanks” to prepare for Thanksgiving! We
played thanksgiving Jingo (which turned
out to be quite the history lesson for all of
us) we ate warm apples with oats and cin-
namon rolls.
Dorothy Wetzel’s daughter Marcia Nickel
joined us, as did Dick Brammer. We further
discussed the joys in our life that we are
thankful for, and those things we should be
more thankful for, like dishes, laundry and a
dirty house! I personally find it difficult to
be thankful for these things at times but
they mean I have food, clothes, and roof
over my head!
Be Thankful!
Looking
Ahead Please see the insert for a list
of upcoming special events.
As the December calendar
changes on a regular basis to
accommodate every group
that wants to visit, please

dining room.

Clearview Homes
Mission Statement
Clearview Homes are commit-
ted to providing compassion-
ate and quality care to our
residents. We are established
in small communities where
neighbors take care of neigh-
bors.
Within our homes we strive to
give each resident dignity, re-
spect, and a quality of life for
them and their families to en-
joy
creating a “Home away from
Home.”
Please welcome
Robin Campbell
To our wonderful home!
We look forward to seeing
her smiling face every
day!
Each of us! Not some of us, a few of us, or
the top ten among us… Each of has a beauty
that longs to be revealed and released. Each
day at Clearview Home you will find staff
demonstrating their gift they have been
blessed with…. serving others. These wom-
en and men have chosen to work in the
health care field, because they enjoy making
a difference in the lives of the residents who
live at Clearview Home. They realize the
residents who they love and care for every-
day have made many sacrifices throughout
their lifetime for their families and the world
we live in. They know their job, they admit
their limitations, they do what they do qui-
etly and consistently, to bring joy and a since
of peace to the dear folks they serve. Call it
what you wish. A talent…a skill set…a gift.
The terms are different, but the truth is the
same. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 12:7, “The
Spirit has given each of us a special way of
serving others.” Clearview Home is truly
blessed to have a wonderful staff that has a
true gift for serving others. Thank you to
each of you… it is you at your best. Wishing
you joy, love and hope this Christmas and
throughout the coming year.
Patty, John, Joe, Julie and Matt
