More than 30 years ago, Levy began as two brothers, our mom and a deli. Our passion was ignited to celebrate food and create memorable guest experiences.

A whole new meaning to “step up to the plate”! We’re serving up ballpark favorites from the 58 luxury suites and 4 Legend suites to the seats and even at the infamous swimming pool in center field. Menu items range from sliders to our unique twist on the quesadilla. Get up close to the action at the Audi quattro Lounge, or take a walk around the concourse and feast on signatures such as the A-Zona Burger Burger, Big Dawgs, Double Headers and more! They are very proud of whom they are and they know what makes them special. You need to do your prep work to find out. They are very proud of their signature fish taco that it has its own webpage: http://www.levyrestaurants.com/recipes/fish-tacos

Right now they are having problems with the online applications and if you really want to work here, apply online and then you need to call (602) 462-3000 to see what they days (times) that they do walk-in’s and then put on clean clothes and make a bee line over to their offices. They are on the Westside of the stadium (ask when you get there because it is still hard to hind) 401 E. Jefferson St. Phoenix, AZ 85004

No experience necessary, will train! 18 years-old minimum age ISS Facility Services is now accepting applications with immediate hire for qualified individuals at Sky Harbor. All 3 shifts are available, 6am- 2:30 pm, 2pm- 10:30 pm and 10pm - 6:30 am. Open applications being accepted at Terminal #2, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 am - 11:30 am, otherwise by appointment by calling 480-351-0000. Office located near door 8 with ISS Logo on the door. Must bring 2 VALID forms of ID, one being a photo document. If you are foreign born, please bring all work documentation. NOTE: UMOM CAMPERS! You live 10 minutes away from Sky Harbor’s SkyTrain – which runs to each terminal 24/7 and is free. It is critical that you introduce yourself by saying that “I live 10 minutes away and I have been waiting a long time for this opportunity to come along.” The main factor is NOT experience (you need none but it does require the ability to run a vacuum cleaner, know how to clean a mirror and to remove spills before they become stains) but availability to get to work early on a daily basis and be available if they need to call you in. Do your prep work by knowing who ISS is and what makes them special as they know and will ask if you do. If you do…you will impress them. Impress them and get the job.

PRODUCE TEAM MEMBER AT WHOLE FOODS - ACCEPTED OFFER Interview Details –Was called in for 1 interview. Very basic interview. Was called in for a second interview and it was more serious. Then the next day i was called for the job. Interview Question – • What are your weaknesses? Negotiation Details –They asked me what i was looking for (shift wise) and i said days or nights. They only had nights available. They also told me what they were going to pay me and when I would start. =========================================================== CASHIER AT WHOLE FOODS - ACCEPTED OFFER – INTERVIEWED Interview Details –I applied online at home on a Thursday and was called the next day to come in for an interview the following Monday. I arrived and waited for a

Page 14: Chase field is calling you

few minutes before a manager (I am assuming?) came to greet me and we sat down for the interview. It was very casual, at some counters near the checkout. She had a print off of my application with her but I gave her a copy of my resume anyway. She asked about 5 or 6 questions before asking for a reference at my previous job. Know the brand identity and culture! Interview Questions - • What does a guest service mean to you? • What does teamwork mean to you? • Why do you want to work at Whole Foods? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BAKERY TEAM MEMBER AT WHOLE FOODS - ACCEPTED OFFER Interview Details –Applied online and was contacted a couple days later. Had two interviews (one with front end & other with bakery after I mentioned coffee experience), which both went great. Know WFM core values and history of company, questions will be asked! Both interviews were very casual and relaxed, with plenty of laughs in between. A couple of days later I received another phone call regarding a "second" interview with the store TL. It was short and sweet about my schedule and flexibility (if I could close/open, our term for "close at 1030 then open at 5am the next day), etc. I don't know if all TL interviews are like that, but mine was! I think a couple days after that, I received a phone call from the ATL offering me the position and I have loved it ever since! Interview Question –Are you a circle or a square? Negotiation Details –The TL and ATLs told me the beginning hourly pay for each team member during my interview with the chance of raises at the 6 month and year reviews. =================================================================== SEAFOOD TEAM MEMBER AT WHOLE FOODS - ACCEPTED OFFER Interview Details – I was very determined to work for whole foods, where I was in a bad spot with my current working job, and after I had done my research and realized what a great company wfs' was to work for. I applied, applied, and I applied some more. I took the time to go into the store to introduce myself to every manager in the departments I had applied in. My first application was for a management position in the seafood department, although I had no management experience. I introduced myself to the manager he asked me a few questions, asked me to wait so he could look up my application, said he would look over it and give me a call,

Page 15: Chase field is calling you

I re-checked my application online, and it stated the status of my application was "pursuing other candidates, but encouraged to apply for other jobs," So, I did, and I received an interview on a Saturday in the grocery department, after my 30 minute interview of basic questions, "schedule restrictions, what does organic mean to you, etc." The interview was concluded with, "I have a lot of people to interview, if you do not hear from me in a week, feel free to give me a call to check the status, I am very busy and can sometimes forget." I did some shopping afterwards and took the time to touch base with more managers in departments I had applied; I also went to touch base with the Seafood Manager to thank him for his words of encouragement, even though he had not chosen to hire me. He wished me luck and told me to let him know how it goes, The following Thursday (the day before I had planned to call the grocery manager to check about the job) I received a call from the seafood manager, asking if I had heard back from anyone, and that if not, he had a position that just opened up and he would really like to have me in his department if someone else had not snatched me up yet.

I WAS THRILLED! I went in for an "interview" with him, he showed me around the department, gave me the "low-down" of what a day of work there would be like, and asked me if I had any issues with the bare-necessities I would need to work there. He offered me the position, full-time, and that was just last week, I am currently awaiting my background screening to clear and schedule my "day 1" training class. I cannot wait to start my career with whole foods, and leave behind my junk of a job I have now, PERSISTENCE REALLY DOES PAY OFF! Interview Question –What does Organic mean to you? Negotiation Details –There was no negotiation, I was more than thrilled with the offer with it being almost $3 more than what I am currently making... ======================================================= http://media.wholefoodsmarket.com/non-sending/news/whole-cities-foundation-aims-to-broaden-access-to-fresh-nutritious-food-and

NOTE: CONFESSION OF AN APPLICANT SLAMMER…Back when they first came to town, they were new and fresh to this market. They were open and willing to create opportunities for people who had been denied just that by their background. They said “Sure, we will not reject people because merely because of their past history (i.e. Criminal history)…” Based upon the kindness of their heart (recruiter, now, long since gone from the company), we slammed them at their early recruitments with what must have seemed to be every newly released person from AZ DOC (some…a lot of them…really were heavy duty guys/gals) and the recruiters freaked…the vast majority of applicants (way over 50%) were rejected by the corporation. By the time of the second round of interviews, their ads now carried, bold, block lettering that said “NO FELONIES!” After that they went to this system where you must apply online and you are screened (rejected) by computer selection for answering “YES” to have you ever been convicted? Nice and neat solution, tidy and without applicant recourse…”we selected another candidate…thank you!”

Page 18: Chase field is calling you

This is what happens and why many employers are not willing to openly say that they are open to considering people with backgrounds – in fact, legally, it is easier to exclude everyone in this class rather than be accused of favoritism. Were the local job placement agencies to blame? Yea, as they are driven not by what is good for the employer, the community and many times not even their clients; they are driven by numbers (the need to generate numbers). This company was slammed by the sheer numbers that were herded towards them and in the end; they reacted not too well and this eliminated all

opportunities for all previously incarcerated job seekers.

Is this unusual? No, this is the norm just ask Danny of Danny’s Car Washes among other local businesses.

What is the solution, I don’t know? Maybe not until you tear down the way the system works, rebuilding it to consider the REAL needs of everyone in the whole community instead of the greed of agencies driven to create and required to achieve totally unrealistic placement numbers (85 hires out 100 enrolled) of hard to place job seekers because the grant structure is conducted as an E-Bay Auction to the highest bidder and goes to agency willing to bid the highest numbers. Eliminate the actual numbers to be placed and replace it with will “we will serve ___ number of _____ and work with them towards securing employment” would have helped the local business community and the applicants (the agencies) to be served. - Just a random thought or two from a former slammer and herder?

“…GETTING A JOB HERE IS NOT FOR THE LAZY APPLICANT…” Most people who apply at Costco will NEVER hear from the regarding their application.

In fact 8 out of 10 will not get an interview and from there 1 person MAY get an offer.

WOW! That’s tuff! It is impossible to get a job there right? It is impossible ONLY if you don’t know the secret(s) to getting your application seen and thus becoming one of the two that actually get considered. This is not for the faint hearted, those who have (be nice) lazy job seeking skills or those who totally believe that their “KILLER RESUME” is magical and it is so good that it can open any door or get them any job…these will be some of those 8 out of ten applicants who don’t get interviewed and the surely won’t be the one hired. Is it that hard? No…but, you must be willing to set-a-side that killer resume and start from scratch.

I’M ONE HIP KITTY! I FOUND MY NEW JOB ONLINE AT THE

AUNTIE SUE & UNCLE BOB

USED JOB SHACK’S NEW WEBSITE!

I had a job…but, that dog I worked for chased me to death…I was

mad…I was upset…I started to take a nip of catnip to get through

a hard day…I was in prison…an economic prison…No time to look

for a new job because I was working and I need this job. I was

ready to scratch out the old dog’s one good eye….

THEN!!!! I found the Auntie Sue & Uncle Bob USED JOB SHACK’S

JOB BOARD. I could go to the bathroom and scan the new jobs

on my smart phone, read their insider Intel on my break and call

for appointments while at lunch.

This is a great place because it told me what I needed to know to

get the new job; they even had the questions to be asked at the

interview.

More importantly, they showed me how to be working and still

apply for new jobs without having to take time off.
