BRANDON LEE, Famous Son of Renowned Martial Artist, BRUCE LEE, was killed 'accidentally' on a movie set while filming THE CROW. He was killed when a live bullet, which was 'somehow substituted for a blank cartridge', was fired during a film sequence. Brandon, himself, was often quoted as saying he would never live to see the age of 30, and he had dreams and premonitions of dying or being killed while making a movie on a film set! In this chart, Uranus and Pluto lead as the main Anaretic planets, with Jupiter and IC in Taurus following in importance, lastly with the stellium in Capricorn, of ASC, PF, Mercury and Venus in a 3-point Trine position between the earthly triplicity of Virgo, Taurus and Capricorn. Jupiter and IC in Taurus are the focal/ending point, showing the apex pointing DOWN to the Anaretic 4th House. Mars, Uranus and Pluto are all in Retrograde motion; these 3 planets being the most powerful and important factors in the chart, and show the outcome of these tragic events which occurred on the set, while filming the metaphysical and occult movie, THE CROW. Jupiter in Taurus is opposite Neptune in Scorpio within 3 degrees of being exact, which shows the connection to his famous father, Bruce Lee, who has a very heavy stellium in Scorpio (Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars). This seems to suggest that his death was due to or from the Karma of his father, as has been suggested by other 'authorities' on the matter. More, Brandon has been quoted as saying that the males in his family seemed to be doomed to an early death; however, that did not occur to his other male relatives, uncles Peter and Robert. His Uncle Robert did say that Bruce Lee had angered some Chinese merchants who had placed a curse on him. Aside from curses and predicted doom from various other sources, Brandon's - and Bruce's - charts seem to be highly

fated, as each has important placements in Anaretic (Death) Houses: Bruce: Pluto in Leo -Retrograde/8th House, and Brandon: Saturn in Pisces/2nd House, Jupiter & IC in Taurus/4th House, and Mars, Uranus & Pluto in Virgo-all Retrograde/8th House. Indeed, Brandon's chart seems more highly fated than Bruce's, placing him in the position of being the inheritor of the energies, actions and associated karma of both father and son!

ANALYSIS:

This chart is very circumspect, as it shows the influences which were at operation shortly before the death of Brandon Lee.

Brandon Lee was, in effect, a GOLDEN CHILD who inherited his father's legacy. Although he was born with dark hair and eyes, at age 2 (?), all of his dark hair fell out, and instead there grew in a mass of BLOND hair. He also had gray eyes. Bruce was quoted as saying he was the only China-man he knew who had blond hair and gray eyes. Brandon inherited his doomed legacy from his famous father, Bruce Lee, who innovated and revolutionized the martial arts with his practices of Jeet Kune Do, whose famous moves on camera and off were known world-wide. Due to Bruce Lee's highly volatile nature, it has been said that he made various enemies in his own culture and elsewhere, due to his unusual stance and beliefs in regards to his martial arts craft. He also married 'out of his class', a Caucasian woman, Linda Emery, who he is survived by, as well as a daughter, Shannon Lee, Aries.

Growing up, Brandon Lee began to follow in his famous father's footsteps, adopting some of his martial arts practices; he also began a film career fairly early, but preferred to be 'an actor portraying a martial artist' rather than 'a martial artist who was an actor', as his father had been. Like his famous father before him, Brandon experienced having 3 films made before his final, break-out role: "Legacy of Rage" in Cantonese, 1989; "Laser Mission", English, 1990; "Showdown in Little Tokyo", filmed in Los Angeles, 1991; "Rapid Fire", Los Angeles and Taiwan, 1992, and his final, tragic, break-out film, "The Crow", filmed in 1993, and released in 1994. During the filming of THE CROW, the set was rife with accidents and mishaps, and there was talk of 'a curse'. Likewise, it was rumored that 'old enemies' of Bruce had resurfaced, who had sworn revenge against Brandon, as a way of getting 'even' against Bruce. Therefore, when the 'accident' occurred, much suspicion and alarm once again emerged. Seemingly, there were far too many unanswered questions, and doubts filled the air, replete with a criminal investigation to find the real cause of death. However, one only has to look at the natal chart of Brandon Lee to see what truly occurred, for circumstances were already set in place for these tragic events to play out.

When one looks at Brandon's chart, they are immediately struck by the PYRAMID shape that points strongly to the Anaretic 4th House, and the 8th House of Death. Again, this is his NATAL chart, and not the transit or progressed chart. This strong indication shows that, indeed, he might be subject to death at an early age. Three main planets hold sway over the horoscope, which are all in Retrograde position: Mars, Uranus and Pluto. All are in the sign of Virgo, sign of work, health and service to others. Brandon Lee was a very serviceable man: fair, sweet, correct in his dealings with others, always trying to do the right thing, for himself and others. However, it now seems that his life was doomed from the start, no matter how correct he might be. Of great importance is the fact that these three Retrograde planets - and they are the only Retro planets in his chart - are all in the Anaretic 8th House of Death. It has been said that when a native has a Retrograde planet, that the planet(s) so displayed indicate past-life events which are now due and payable in the present life. They are also supposed to show the manner of circumstances imposed upon the chart, for karmic rectification. I do not know if this is true, but if so this would mean that Brandon had some clean-up work to do in the matter of health, work and service issues. Additionally, the Moon's South (Malefic) Node shows the manner of past-life mis-actions, and the manner of 'payment' needed to set things right. Perhaps in his past life(s), Brandon was a hard employer, which now he must pay back in the form of being himself subject to harsh environs 'on the job'; however, these environs which beset him were far over the norm! Perhaps in a past life, he misused freedom issues (his South Node is in Sagittarius, in the 11th House of friendships), or was abusive to his friends. Perhaps NONE of these ramblings pertain to the whys and wherefores of his demise, for there were MANY circumstances at work before and during his demise that are suspicious and back-handed. Suffice it to say, his chart was ripe for 'other factors' to come in and take full advantage of the negative and malefic influences that were in operation at the time of, and mostly prior to, his untimely death.

Following is my analysis of his natal chart, which shows the influences in his chart which proved to be fatal:

The stellium of Mars, Uranus and Pluto - all Retrograde in Virgo in the Anaretic 8th House of Death:

Mars, the planet of dynamic action, war/conflict, passion and aggression is RETROGRADE in Virgo, the sign of work and placed in the 8th House of Death. This shows that his death would be due to some type of projectile (Mars) or due to being shot. Uranus in Virgo, Retrograde, shows that the incident will be sudden and perhaps fatal to his life and health. Pluto, the dark planet which rules the underworld and DEATH, is also Retrograde. Under the best of conditions, this planet is indeed scary enough, being a DEATH planet, just as Saturn, the Great Reaper, is an indicator of death in a chart. Brandon had Saturn, the Grim Reaper, in Pisces (which rules hospitals, prisons, caretakers, etc.) in the Anaretic 2nd House of Money and Possessions, opposite his Retrograde Uranus and Pluto placements in Virgo in the 8th House of Death; with these positions, one can see that surely Death was stalking Brandon Lee. As Pluto also rules SECRETS, secretiveness, large groups of men (authority figures, secret fraternal organizations/brotherhoods), transformation (through death, etc.) and regeneration (reincarnation) and power and control issues, this dread planet seemed to have been the pivotal cause for his death. Perhaps there were those in power who were still angered at his famous father, Bruce Lee, who sought to restore 'face' by acclimating to the death of his son, who was now becoming an artist in his own right. There are many 'stories' out there which seem to support this theory, as it was known that certain powerful individuals in the Chinese TRIADS approached Bruce Lee, in an effort to have him come under their sway; he of course, refused, and this was supposedly one of the reasons for his death, and the death of his son, Brandon. It has been said that when the Triads kill someone, that they also go after the "#1-son', which would be Brandon, in this case. Be that as it may, however, other circumstances and influences are at play within the chart of Brandon Lee which show indications for an early death..

There are strong indications of trickery, deceit and usury in his chart, both by and from women, employers (Producers, etc.) and employees/co-workers. Brandon himself was a dynamic personage who had boundless energy, a highly disciplined and ethical work practice. This, alone, would put him in trouble with other co-workers not as dedicated and disciplined as himself. Brandon's discipline came from a life of correctness, first set in place by his own father, and then followed up by himself. Surely it was not his fault that he did the right things, at the right times, and in the correct ways. Is he to be faulted, then, that he was such an exceptional person? That he was beautiful to behold and sincere in his dealings with others? Where does one draw the line in their life between what others expect, and what one expects from themself? It is sad and unfortunate that most people, who are not disciplined or sincere, will go to great lengths to tear others down who they deem to be 'better than' themselves, and who act out of venomous envy. How ridiculous to fault someone for being the best that they can be; when all of us have the same ability - to be the best that we can be! However, in the shallow world of 'Tinseltown', envy and jealous spite reign supreme, hand-in-hand with treachery, deceit and usury. This, then, is the environment that Brandon Lee found himself to be in; nonetheless, he attempted to comport himself in the best manner possible, and in fact DID, much to the sadness and chagrin of we who remain behind him.

Brandon's Sun and Moon are both in the sign of unusual, eccentric and sometimes quirky Aquarius. Aquarius is also the sign of GENIUS, and it can be seen that Brandon had an unusual genius in playing out his film roles. He mesmerized his fans with his gift of the martial arts, as well as his compelling and charismatic good looks and personality - indeed, Brandon seemed to

light up the screen with his presence. The unfortunate aspect, however, of Moon in Aquarius is that others often plot against these natives, for one reason or another. Perhaps it is due to their beautiful unusualness, or their quiet rebellion at the mores which plague humanity, choking out the true essence of the human being. One can only wonder at this, but it is a fact that Moon in Aquarius personages are often 'eliminated' because of their unusual spirit and their non-conformity. A few examples of this are: PRINCESS DIANA, whose strange 'accidental' death is even now still being investigated; JOHN LENNON, whose death, although through the hands of an unstable person is still rife with suspicions regarding the rumors of supposed government officials being involved, and now sadly, Brandon Lee, whose death - like his father's - was labeled 'accidental' and/or 'a curse'. Astrology, however, can prove these 'theories' and conspiratorial rumors as untrue, and can truly show what occurs in a native's chart when unfortunate circumstances happen.

The stellium, therefore, of Retrograde Mars, Uranus and Pluto in Virgo in the 8th House, Inconjunct to his Sum and Moon in Aquarius show danger to the life through accident or death from projectile (gun fire) while on the job (Virgo). It also shows that there is a 'hidden hand' in operation during this tragedy (Pluto) over power and control issues, and that certain effects were planned in advance, and then put into action by other factors. The event was SUDDEN (Uranus) and unusual (Uranus again), and certain pertinent facts were (secret) covered over or misconstrued, in the wake of his death (Neptune in Scorpio in the 10th House). There are also INSURANCE issues in regards to work methods and coverages which come into play and which hold much concern and importance. With Saturn in Pisces/2nd House Opposite Retrograde Uranus and Pluto in Virgo/8th House, there was some type of negligence or help withheld -- JUST LIKE IN THE CASE OF HIS FATHER, BRUCE LEE, WHO WAS LEFT LYING ON A GURNEY IN A HOSPITAL WITHOUT BEING TAKEN CARE OF PROPERLY, AND JUST LEFT TO DIE. Indeed .... Like Father, Like Son! The Saturn placement in Pisces (hospitals/healthcare workers) shows that real help was not forthcoming for Brandon in the manner that it should have been, who then ended up bleeding to death from his massive wound, notwithstanding the courageous attempts of doctors and nurses who may have begun his help too late, and this would indeed be an influence of dread Saturn, as the nature of this planet is to hold back, obstruct, restrict, hamper and otherwise crystallize the body functions (harden, decompose). Additionally, as Saturn is somewhat Square to the Moon's North Node in Gemini, in the 5th House, there is some indication of women working here against him. Perhaps a 'jilted' love object or an obsessed fan was employed at the hospital (Pisces influences) where Brandon was taken, and this was her chance to seek revenge for being repulsed; perhaps also the Nurses and/or female doctors at the hospital were nervous at treating the fatally wounded Brandon and, because of their fears and nervousness, did all of the wrong things the wrong ways at the wrong times. One can never know now. Saturn, the Grim Reaper and indicator of Death in a chart, is likewise Sextile (in good aspect) to his IC in Taurus, in the 4th Anaretic House, indicating that his Sun (Life) would be reaped/cut down, perhaps at an early age. The 4th House shows the influences in play at the end of life and, in this case, strongly indicates that due to negligence a death could ensue, and that there would be money issues and women/a woman involved. Taurus is the sign of money and possessions and is conjunct the IC in the (Anaretic) 4th House/THE HOME; with the IC placed here, it might normally indicate DEATH AT HOME, in the bosom of one's family, surrounded by comfort and loved possessions. However, due to the Anaretic 8th House of Death occupied by the 3 Retrograde planets of Mars, Uranus and Pluto, the death

is instead one out of the home, violent and sudden, with death benefits forthcoming quickly to the survivors of the native and his home.

The Moon's North Node in Gemini, in the 5th House of Children, Love Affairs and Display denotes that the event is set in motion somehow by, perhaps, conflicts to, from or through women, clandestine love affairs, treachery and/or deceit. There seems to be an indication of 2-facedness, either through or because of women, especially in the work sector (Virgo, again), or by outside influences which strongly impact the work sector negatively. Perhaps there was a love interest there on the set, which was quickly kiboshed either by Brandon himself, or his fiance', Eliza Hutton; perhaps common flirtations were mistaken as 'commitments' by love-lorn women; be that as it may, if this was something that was ongoing, and had been in effect for some time during the filming of "THE CROW", it would create a very uncomfortable, even a toxic work environment, and the added poisonous petty jealousies would accompany Brandon and be blown up out of proportion, due to the close proximity of Retrograde Mars, Uranus and Pluto. There seem to be many factors in his chart, which point to various issues which make for a very uncomfortable job/work relation.

The Metaphysical Movie, "THE CROW"

Let us, lastly, take a look at the metaphysical movie, "THE CROW", the last film of Brandon Lee. This is a film where the hero comes back from the dead to avenge the deaths of himself and his fiance, Shelly, who are both brutally killed by street thugs. The movie is replete with info from various metaphysical and occult sources and images, including the rantings from a Necromantic type of book, read aloud by a 'street-demon' thug named "T-Bird", who runs his gangs of miscreants who pilfer and rape and randomly create mayhem. The synopsis of the film springs from an underground comic-book series, THE CROW, whose character Brandon Lee took upon himself to flesh out with his own spirit and make 'real' and believable. In fact, he brought the character to life a bit too much - almost truly becoming THE CROW, as it were (in the movie). There are also after-life scenes which are haunting and beautiful which Brandon brings alarmingly to life; it is as if he has an innate, first-hand inner knowledge of the workings of things metaphysical and occult, for his personification of THE CROW character is too close to comfort, and far too real. Now that Brandon is no longer with us in body, one can only hope that his character of THE CROW did not stick with him in death and the afterlife, and that he has found peace and resolve of any issues he had in life, especially those which swirled around him near and on the time of his death.

In his chart, Neptune in Scorpio/10th House would further support the metaphysical leanings of this movie character. Scorpio, being the sign of Death, control, transformation, secretiveness, and sex is ruled by another dread and awesome planet, Pluto, who like its native sign, rules over death, transformation and transmutation, regeneration and reincarnation. Indeed, Scorpio has often been called THE DEATH ANGEL, and is a sign that easily understands the metaphysical and occult side of life; hence his ease in comporting himself to the role.

Although the stellium of Brandon's PF, ASC, Mercury and Venus are in Trine position to his Retrograde Mars, Uranus and Neptune, IF these 3 dread planets were not positioned in the Anaretic 8th House of Death, Brandon would still be alive today! Even though there are strong

indications of treachery, betrayal, and danger to his life, it could have been bypassed by positions in other houses, which would have created more receptivity in his chart. Alas, the world has lost an unique, highly beautiful spirit, and sincere and dedicated person. Brandon had rare beauty, effervescence, and a real joy of life. He loved his fellow-man, and truly wanted to help make it a better world for all. In the wake of his death years afterward, he is still loved and lauded, and now has a bigger following than during his life, due to the metaphysical nature of his death, and the effects of Neptune in his 10th House of Career. Indeed, were Brandon to be allowed to live out his life, he would have 'gone really big' and would have made a tremendous impact on us all. However, he still to this day has a huge, growing impact on those he left behind, family, friends and strangers, and will continue to shine bright as a star in the firmament.

History of the star: Coxa is Latin for "hip". This star Coxa along with the star delta (Zosma) on the hind quarter were Al Kihil al Asad, the "Space between the Shoulders" of the Lion, Leo. The "Two Little Ribs", or the" two Khurt", or "Holes", penetrating into the interior of the Lion.

On the Euphrates they were Kakkab Kua, the constellation of the god Kua, the "Oracle". In Egypt, Mes-su, the "Heart of Su": In Sogdiana they were "Wadha, the Wise": In Khorasmia, Armagh, the "Great". The Arabic name for Coxa or Chort is Al-Kharat, "The rib".

They were the Arabic 9th manzil Al Zubrah "The Mane" (though nowhere near the mane of the Lion we know now; Arabs had a much larger lion figure for Leo) [Influences of 9th mansion: Good for voyages, gain by merchandise, redemption of captives (Robson)].

This star theta (Coxa) shares with delta (Zosma) the title Al H'aratan. Al Biruni wrote that "when they rise Suhail is seen in Al Izak," — wherever this may be. The Century Cyclopedia gives Chort as the individual name, from the combined title. In India they marked the 9th nakshatra, Purva Phalguni, delta being the junction star between the two Phalguni asterisms.

These stars are said to give the ability to prophesy [perhaps relating to the symbolism of the book-carrying lion in his prophetic role].(Allen).

History of the star: A star on the Tail of the Great Bear Ursa Major. This little star is a companion and only 11' distant to the star Mizar. Alcor is a 4th magnitude star and only people with excellent eyesight could distinguish it as a separate star from Mizar because they are so close as to appear to be a single star. These stars used to be the "test" or "riddle" by which people used to test their eyesight on. Inconspicuous though Alcor may be, it has been famous in astronomical folklore. Although the statement has been made that Alcor was not known to the Greeks, there is an old story that it was the Lost Pleiad, Electra, which had wandered here from her companions and became ... "the Fox." In Hindu mythology the seven stars of Ursa Major, the seven Richis or Seven Wise Men, were

wedded to the seven sisters of the Pleiades. After rumors of their infidelity the Richis banished their wives. Only Arundhati (or Arundha), an exemplary wife remained with her husband, Sage Vashishta as the star Alcor; Vashishta is Mizar. In the course of Hindu marriage rituals, both the bride and groom are taken outside the marriage mandap and shown the Star Alcor, better known as Arundhati Nakshatram. This ritual symbolizes the urge of the newly weds to remain true to each other. And Alcor is pointed out as a paradigm of marital virtue to the bride. (1, 2). Al Biruni called this star Al Suha, "the pious woman". [These two close stars could have more erotic implications because Mizar is the "groin" or "loins" of the Great Bear].

A Latin title was Eques Stellula, "the Little Starry Horseman"; Eques, "the Cavalier", is from Bayer; while the Horse and his Rider, and, popularly, in England, Jack on the Middle Horse, are well known, Mizar being the horse. It was also called "the Abject", which means a courser or rider.

Alcor, forever tied to Mizar, is hardly ever spoken of unless as "Mizar and Alcor," which the Arabs referred to as the horse and rider. The name Alcor, however, was stolen from that for Alioth. Both come from an Arabic word that means the "black horse." The term was distorted in different ways as it was applied to each of the two stars. Oddly, the "rider" of the pair is the one with the name of the "horse," "Mizar" referring not to a horse but to the "groin" of the Great Bear. (3) Alcor is connected with a German story of a wagoner named Hans Dumkin, who, although he was poor; offered his hospitality to Christ. He had always wanted to travel, so Christ gave him Alcor; enabling him to continue sightseeing for eternity.

In an Arabic story this star, Alcor, was the little infant in the arms of one of the "Mourners". The constellation of the Great Bear was seen as a funeral procession, around a Bier or coffin (bear and bier come from the same root word). The bier was marked by the Plough or Big Dipper stars on the body of the Bear - Merak (beta), Dubhe (alpha), Phecda (gamma) and Megrez (delta). The coffin was followed by "Mourners"; the three big stars on the tail of the Great Bear; epsilon (Alioth), zeta (Mizar), and eta (Alkaid). These mourners, the children of Al Na'ash, who was murdered by Al Jadi, the pole-star (Polaris), are still nightly surrounding him in their thirst for vengeance, the walidan among the daughters — the star Mizar — holding in her arms her new-born infant, the little Alcor.

In the Norse astronomy Rigel marked one of the great toes of Orwandil, the other toe having been broken off by the god Thor when frost-bitten, and thrown to the northern sky, where it became the little Alcor (Anglo-Saxon Earendel). (Allen).

Influence of the constellation: It is said to give a quiet, prudent, suspicious, mistrustful, self-controlled, patient nature, but an uneasy spirit and great anger when roused. By the Kabalists it is associated with the Hebrew letter Zain and the 7th Tarot Trump "The Chariot". (Robson).

Rising: Those born at the rising of this constellation will be tamers of wild beasts, that is men to teach bears, bulls and lions to lay aside their fierceness and share in human ways. (Manilius Astronomica 1st century AD).

History of the star: Capella, "small goat" or the "Little She-goat", is a white star in Auriga marking the goat that the Charioteer is carrying on his left shoulder.

There are many ancient stories relating to Capella, the 6th largest star in the sky. A previous name of this star was Amalthea, which referred to the goat that suckled the baby Zeus (Jove/Jupiter). Amalthea was mother of the Haedi (the two stars depicted as kid goats - Zeta, Hoedus 1 and Eta Auriga, Hoedus 11), which she put aside to accommodate her foster-child, and with her sister Melissa, she fed the infant god with goat's milk and honey on Mount Ida and this star is appropriately positioned in the Milky Way; and for which Manilius wrote: The Nursing Goat's repaid with Heaven. From this came the occasional Jovis Nutrix.

Others said that the star represented the Goat's horn broken off in play by the infant Zeus and transferred to the heavens as Cornucopia, the "Horn of Plenty", a title recalled by the modern Lithuanian "Food-bearer". The words Keren-happuch, the "Paint-horn", or the "Horn of Antimony", of the Book of Job xlii, 14, — the Cornus tibii of the Vulgate are all said to be connected. "Capella's course admiring landsmen trace, but sailors hate her inauspicious face". This star, along with the Haedi, were known for their stormy character throughout classical days and this was called the "rainy Goat-star". The word "goat" was analogous to a "Storm Wind". Pliny and Manilius treated it as a constellation by itself, also calling it Capra, Caper, Hircus, and by other hircine titles. Our word is the diminutive of Capra, sometimes turned into Crepa, but this star was more definitely given as Olenia, Olenie, Capra Olenie, and the Olenium Astrum of Ovid's Heroides. In the present day it is Cabrilla with the Spaniards, and Chevre with the French. The Arabic had various names; Ayyuk, Alhajoc, Alhajoth, Alathod, Alkatod, Alatudo, Atud, Alcahela. Al 'Anz, "Goat". The early Arabs called it Al Rakib, the Driver. The Tyrians called it 'Iyutha. Capella's place on the Egyptian Denderah zodiac is occupied by a mummied cat in the outstretched hand of a male figure crowned with feathers; while, always an important star in the temple worship of the great Egyptian god Ptah, the Opener (of the year), it is supposed to have borne the name of that divinity and probably was observed at its setting 1700 BCE from his temple, the noted edifice at Karnak near Thebes, the No Amon of the books of the prophets Jeremiah and Nahum. A sanctuary of Ptah at Memphis also was oriented to it about 5200 BCE. There is believed to be at least five temples oriented to its setting. It served, too, the same purpose for worship in Greece, where it may have been the orientation point of a temple at Eleusis to the goddess Diana Propyla. In India it also was sacred as Brahma Ridaya, the "Heart of Brahma". It was the Akkadian Dil-gan I-ku, the "Messenger of Light", and Dil-gan Babill, the "Patron star of Babylon", One Akkadian cuneiform inscription, supposed to refer to Capella,

is rendered by Jensen Askar, the "Tempest God"; and the Tablet of the Thirty Stars bears the synonymous Ma-a-tu; all this well accounting for its subsequent character in classical times. The ancient Peruvians identifying this star with Colca, the Shepherd's Star as was the title in Mediterranean countries and with English poets.

In astrology Capella portended civic and military honors and wealth. (Allen). Influence of the constellation: According to Ptolemy the bright stars are like Mars and Mercury. The constellation is said to give self-confidence, interest in social and educational problems. Happiness, but danger of great vicissitudes (changes of circumstances effecting one's life). According to tradition, this star also makes people somewhat odd, a tendency for such natives to cut capers. This could be counted as another manifestation of a weak Neptunian influence. Arkab and Urkab are from Arabic Al 'Urkub, translated by Ideler as the "Tendon uniting the calf of the leg to the heel", or it is the tendon on the leg just above the ankle (in either man or horse) of Sagittarius, and this coincides with their location in the figure on modern maps, as well as with their Euphratean title Ur-ner-gub, the "Sole of the Left Foot"; but Al Sufi and the engraver of the Borgian globe assigned these stars to the rear of the horse's body.

Alpha and the two betas were the Arabic Al Suradain, the two Surad, desert birds differently described, — by some as "larger than sparrows" and variegated black and white (magpies?); by others as yellow and larger than doves. (Allen).

There were several Malefic planets in Brandon Lee's chart which played a strong part in his early demise: Mars, Uranus and Pluto (in Virgo), which were also all Retrograde. All can be seen to strongly influence his natal Capricorn and Virgo placements of Ascendant and Part of Fortune (Capricorn) and of course, Mars, Uranus and Pluto (Virgo). Most importantly, the IC, which shows the influences operating at the close of life, hence called the DEATH POINT by many noted astrologers, was in close aspect to these Malefics, which aided and abetted the Death or Anaretic Point. The strong culmination, alone, of these Fixed Stars in conjunction with his Natal Points indicate Malefic influences. As they are in the Mutable (changeable) sign of Virgo in the 8th House, the HOUSE OF DEATH, and in the Cardinal (primary) sign of Capricorn, and the Fixed (set) sign of Aquarius, it can further be seen as a fatal outcome of his chart.

There are many uninformed people who think that Astrology doesn't work, or is just a 'fad'; if they could only educate themselves in the wonderful science of this awesome art, most troubles and unpleasant events could be avoided and/or mitigated. Astrology IS Nature's time-clock, an incredibly accurate mechanism, set in place by God, which brings about certain influences and events which are mainly inherent in the Natal chart when the time is right. These influences can be seen to be TRANSITS and PROGRESSIONS, which effect the natal chart most astutely. However the natal positions are placed, the native still has the FREE WILL to either rise above the underlying, negative traits and influences, or give in to them, thereby setting the stage for - at times dire - circumstances to their own actions.

Although FREE WILL is truly the gift to mankind, the Natal chart clearly shows the path ALREADY FIXED AND SET prior to birth, which influences rule, for the most part, the path of life. The events of one's life are previously set, while still in the womb. It is up to us, the human being incarnating on the wheel of life, to choose to be a better person than our previous life, therein mitigating the harsh karmic circumstances that will surely follow our own actions.
