Our Itinerary:Day 1 Boston - Nashville, TN: We depart from Boston, MA this morning and head for “The Music Capital of the U.S.” Nashville, TN. Welcome to your luxurious home for the next 3 nights the opulent Gaylord Opryland Hotel & Resort. The Opryland hotel offers guests an unforgettable getaway with all the excitement and energy of Music City under one spectacular roof and is a destination like none other. The hotel features an extraordinary selection of dining, shopping, recreational activities and entertainment, there’s never a shortage of things to do at the resort. Relax at the Relâche Spa & Salon, make a splash in the indoor or outdoor pool, or explore the nine acres of lush, indoor gardens and cascading waterfalls with the included Delta Flat Boat Ride. Comfort and luxury awaits you. Please note Atirum view rooms overlook the lush indoor gardens, and have a Balcony, patio or bay window. Decked out with more than 3 million lights inside and out the hotel is transformed into a holiday winter wonderland. You will be mezmorized by the transformation of this incredible resort. Tonight we will enjoy dinner at the resort before we head over to the Opryhouse to enjoy a fablous Christmas show at the home of the Grand Ole Opry. (D) Day 2 Nashville: Enjoy a fabulous Full Breakfast at the resort. This morning before we head out for a day of great sightseeing don’t miss out on one of the unique highlights of our trip...ICE! Be graced by the world’s largest nativity display and a walk-through winter wonderland kept at a chilly 9 degrees, is carved out of TWO MILLION pounds of ice. Each year ICE depicts one of the season favorit Christmas stories Hand-carved by 40 artisans from Harbin, China with a four two-story tall ice slides, and Full Nativity in stunning , crystal clear ice. Truly a sight to be seen. We then head out to visit the cultural epicenter of the music city, Ryman Auditorium. Most famous as the home of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943 - 1974, its history as Nashville’s premiere theater and central gathering place started even before construction was complete in 1892. Then enjoy a riding city tour to experience the wonderful sights of the area such as the State Capitol, Music Row and the Parthenon - a full scale replica of the Athenian original! Enjoy time for some shopping and lunch on our own on honky tonk row. This evening we head out for Nashville’s # 1 Dining and Entertainment destination - the famous Wildhorse Saloon. More than 1.5 million music lovers stampede through their doors annually to catch the hottest in live entertainment, learn the newest dance steps and dine on their award-winning Southern smokehouse cuisine. After dinner we take in the Nighttime performance from our reserved seats at the Grand Ole Opry Located at the Ryman Auditorium. Enjoy the show from the Mother Church of Country Music as the Grand Ole Opry moves back to it’s original home for these few specials weeks in the year! (B, D) Day 3 Nashville: This morning enjoy a wonderful backstage tour of the Grand Ole Opry and walk out on the main stage and take a picture! We then head over to the river to experience the one and only General Jackson Brunch Cruise. While “rollin’ down the river,” you’ll enjoy stunning views, a delicious meal freshly prepared, and toe-tapping entertainment in a two-story Victorian Theater in the center of the boat. One of the largest showboats ever built, the grand General Jackson is an elegant triumph of American ingenuity. This evening is one of the major highlights of our trip, your dinner and show at Gaylord Opryland Resort featuring Grammy Award winners, Counrty Music Hall of Fame Members, and Grand Ole Opry members - The Oak Ridge Boys. (Brunch, D)Day 4 Nashville - Boston, MA: Enjoy a fabulous Full Breakfast at the resort. We then head for the Country Music Hall of Fame to be explored at your own pace. Included in our package is a visit to Historic RCA Studio B, for an up close look at Nashville’s oldest remaining record studio. Enjoy lunch on your own at the Hall of Fame or take an easy stroll over to Honky Tonk Row for food, beverage, shopping and so much more with your free time.
