Women can talce a ?ereonal interest in educ~tion, They can study oirownetancee of our present civilization and back up euoh movements as they are willing to back which tend toward the general improvement in our ot~ndards 01 living . This doe s not mean purely in our material standards of living, for we are coming to realize that money alone does not improve those standards. The minirnum oi' economic security is necessary, but the conception tnat one can have culture and recreational opportuni ~ies th~.t are not entirely dependent on increase in income, is beginning to have a place in our nat i onal thought , Women oan take the lead in asswning the responsibil ity for encouragine int erest in civic and governmental affairs.
