DESCRIPTION
He was born in Maurovouni of Pella. His father was a teacher with intense artistic activity so he spent his childhood years in direct contact with nature. He finished high school in Thessaloniki and then studied Electronic at the T.E.I. (Technological Educational Institution) of Thessaloniki and worked until recently as a technical executive at O.T.E. (Hellenic Organization of Telecommunications) He attended photography seminars at the Photography Center of Triumvirate with teacher B. Karakatseli . He was involved systematically with black and white photography and the darkroom, thus participating actively in all phases of creation. He is a member of the Photography Center of Thessaloniki and has taken part in many group exhibitions. His favorite theme remains the nature which always returns either behind the lens or in front of the lens discovering components and materials that are processed and transforms them into useful and decorative objects.TRANSCRIPT

Αγαπημένη του θεματολογία παραμένει η φύση στην οποία επιστρέφει πάντα είτε πίσω από τον φακό είτε μπροστά από τον
φακό ανακαλύπτοντας στοιχεία και υλικά τα οποία επεξεργάζεται και μεταμορφώνει σε αντικείμενα χρηστικά και διακοσμητικά.

Γεννήθηκε στο Μαυροβούνι νομού Πέλλας.Με πατέρα δάσκαλο και με έντονη καλλιτεχνική δραστηριότητα έζησε τα παιδικά του χρόνια σε άμεση επαφή με την φύση. Τελείωσε το λύκειο στην Θεσσαλονίκη και στην συνέχεια σπούδασε Ηλεκτρονικός στο Τ.Ε.Ι. Θεσσαλονίκης και εργαζόταν μέχρι πρόσφατα ως τεχνικό στέλεχος στον ΟΤΕ.Παρακολούθησε σεμινάρια φωτογραφίας στο Φωτογραφικό Κέντρο του Δήμου Τριανδρίας με δάσκαλο τον Β. Καρακατσέλη.
Ασχολήθηκε συστηματικά με την ασπρόμαυρη φωτογραφία αλλά και τον σκοτεινό θάλαμο, συμμετέχοντας έτσι ενεργά σε όλες τις φάσεις της δημιουργίας. Είναι μέλος του Φωτογραφικού Κέντρου Θεσσαλονίκης και έχει πάρει μέρος σε πολλές ομαδικές εκθέσεις φωτογραφίας.
Αγαπημένη του θεματολογία παραμένει η φύση στην οποία επιστρέφει πάντα είτε πίσω από τον φακό είτε μπροστά από τον φακό ανακαλύπτοντας στοιχεία και υλικά τα οποία επεξεργάζεται και μεταμορφώνει σε αντικείμενα χρηστικά και διακοσμητικά.
Οι δημιουργίες που παρουσιάζονται συχνά αφήνουν το μεγαλειώδες έργο της φύσης να αναδειχθεί από μόνο του.
