Project Outcome

The game is set in a world based on the nature and fantasy. The story revolves around bees, which are stylized in a way that fits in with the fantasy genre. The hive represents a castle, with it’s queen and her army of warriors and servants.

The hive rules over a city, that colonises different species of insects. In this world, the bees are the dominant species and so the rest of the colonies are lead by the

queen of the hive, and must abide by her laws, whatever they may be. In the subject of gender, this world is one dominated by the female sex. The male sex is considered lower class and females are given luxuries and high standing jobs and

education. This is to reflect on our world and the sexual discrimination towards woman throughout historical ages. The game portrays the reverse.

This game is an RPG, so the player is free to choose which sex they are and what name the main character shall have. They would also get a chance to adjust how the character looks, but this option wouldn’t be varied much, as the character’s

appearance will change dependant on the journey it takes in the game.

Outline of Game

The Narrative

A new queen has been elected to lead the hive. She is known as Mater, and it is now her job to make the next generation for the hive. She is a queen with strong opinions, and little room for optimism. She is very set in believing that her sex is the superior, and the male sex are cattle class, and they have little strength or inelegance. Her word is law, and she has no tolerance for negotiation. This soon becomes a problem when she meets with the wasp colony. The wasps and bees are ancient enemies, as the wasps are jealous of the bees royal status among the other species. They have a savage reputation for eating bees after roasting them alive. When Mater meets with the queen of the wasps, it doesn’t go well and the wasp colony are enraged by Mater. War is declared between the two colonies, and the hive begins making preparations for battle. However the situation is made worst for the bees when Mater goes missing, and her guards are found slaughtered. Panic brakes out in the hive as a new queen has to be elected before war hits.

Mater- Queen of the

BeesMater’s design is based on exotic flowers and Tudor royalty. She to look dominating and powerful, and is suppose to stand out from the rest of the bees clearly.

Venenum- Queen of

the WaspsVenenum is based on poison and carnivorous plants. Her colouring is mainly neon tones, as it resembles her look with nuclear waste, something dangerous and to be kept away.

Male Character

This character is not yet fully established, but there is a male character that helps the player along their journey throughout the game.
