TRANSCRIPT
CHARACTER CONVENTIONSThriller films have many different types of characters, these characters range from criminals to stalkers and psychotic individuals to menaced
women. Most characters are neither good nor bad and most play a part in a twisted relationship. For a good thriller film the producers must
include a range of different rounded characters as well as less important flat characters, by doing this it means narrative becomes more dynamic. Whereas if the film was full of flat characters, it may make the audience feel board and potentially stop them recommending your film. Also in all
films the main character(s) must face a deadline and/or obstacles and have an end goal.
Character typesFlat characters - minor character with no development through out.
Round character - fully developed character that may experience change during the story.
Example
