Pink Out Rocky Top With the help of the University of Tennessee, and most importantly, Butch Jones, Zeta Chapter is excited to kick-off Breast Cancer Awareness Month by Pinking Out Rocky Top! We are excited to get the entire campus involved in our philanthropy this month, and cannot wait to see Neyland Stadium PINK for the Arkansas vs Tennessee game on October 3rd. Let’s support our collegiate sisters and spread the word to wear pink!
Parent’s Weekend for ZTA The Zeta Chapter would like to formally invite all alumnae of Zeta Tau Alpha to their Annual BBQ Tailgate before the Arkansas vs. Tennessee game on October 3rd. The tailgate will take place in Fraternity Park (Fiji Island closest to Delta Tau Delta and TREC) two hours prior to kick-off. Don’t forget to wear your PINK! As always, this is a free event for alumnae, so we’d love to see you all there! The chapter will then host a Sunday morning brunch at 9:30 at the ZTA Sorority House (2600 Ann Baker Furrow Blvd, Knoxville TN 37916). Please RSVP if you plan on attending brunch. It will be a
fun-filled weekend of sisterhood, family, football, and philanthropy!
ACS Making Strides Walk Join us on October 4th for the American Cancer Society Making Strides Community Walk. ZTA is the National Survivor Ambassador of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer through our partnership with the ACS. This year, we will be the cheerleaders for survivors and handing out shirts, hats, and goody bags. Plan to arrive at approximately 1:30pm, as the walk will begin at 3pm. There will be clean up after. Since it is a community walk, anyone who wants to participate can do so free of charge. Hope to see many sisters there!
Alumnae Officer Elections- Date & Time TBA This October we will be electing new officers for our chapter. The elected Executive Committee consists of President, Vice President I- Programming, Vice President II- Membership, Secretary, Treasurer, and Historian-Reporter, Alumnae-Collegiate Relations (standing committee), and Social Chair (standing committee). Officer Descriptions can be found on the Facebook Group and chapter website. We hope you consider becoming an alumnae officer! See you at our next meeting :) The date and time will be announced soon!

Crown Classic Philanthropy Event On October 20-22nd, Zeta Chapter will be hosting a new philanthropy event, Crown Classic. This event will consist of a walk, a cookout, and a flag football tournament. They would love to have alumnae support and participation so we hope to see you there!

THE LADIES OF ZETA TAU ALPHA AT THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE ARE SO EXCITED TO WELCOME OUR NEW MEMBER CLASS. WE ALREADY LOVE THEM SO AND KNOW THEY WILL MAKE A GREAT ADDITION TO OUR CHAPTER. WE ARE SO PROUD OF THEM AND WE CAN’T WAIT TO SEE THEIR LIP-SYNC PERFORMANCE THIS OCTOBER. COME OUT AND SUPPORT THEM ON OCTOBER 7TH & 8TH!
