Chapter 17 Section 1 Reconstruction Plans Objectives: 1. Identify the parts of the Lincoln, Radical, and Johnson Reconstruction Plans 2. Describe what the Freeman’s Bureau was to do for freedman. I. Group of Republicans wanted the south to pay for starting the war 3. Would not allow any Senator or Representative take a seat in congress if they were elected under the Lincoln Plan 4. This group was led by Thaddeus Stevens 5. Finally the congress passed their plan called the Wade-Davis Bill a. A majority of voters had to pledge loyalty to the United States b. 1. Identify the parts of the Lincoln, Radical, and Johnson Reconstruction Plans
