Notes : a) FIVB Calendar including the World Tour must be finalized
immediately after the World Tour Council Meeting preceding a certain season. The FIVB will limit the number of World Tour events in a season. However, in order to further improve the calendar, the FIVB is entitled to finalize a few negotiations (2 or 3 maximum) affecting the Summer calendar in Europe up to 3 weeks after the World Tour Council Meeting. The FIVB should declare the location and dates of the above few pending negotiations.
b) Each Volleyball Confederation will have one month after the finalization of the FIVB Calendar to fix its respective calendar and submit the dates of its events to the FIVB for integration in their international calendar. After this deadline, open dates can be booked freely by the FIVB and each Confederation on a first come, first served basis.
c) The FIVB World Tour events calendar and, whenever announced, must prevail over Continental and National events held in the same country and during the same date.

d) All promoters must transmit to the FIVB their desired host cities, dates, letter of support from the City, etc. through the appropriate forms for the following period. The dates will be assigned by the FIVB in priority of the promoters fulfilling all candidature requirements in due time.
e) The FIVB will determine the 2011 calendar, post it on the FIVB Website and constantly update it. The calendar of the following year (including the dates, locations, types of event) will be ratified every year by the World Tour Council members.
f) The FIVB will coordinate the FIVB calendar with other major events (i.e. the final of the Continental recognized Championships) to improve the participation of the best teams (priority must be given to the FIVB calendar).
g) Each FIVB recognized Continental tour must be given the opportunity to have a free weekend in the calendar to guarantee the participation of the top ranked teams of each respective Confederation in their respective final tournaments.
h) The FIVB and the Organizers must promote the calendars through all possible means.
i) The most updated FIVB Beach Volleyball SWATCH WORLD TOUR Calendar is posted on the FIVB Website as follows :
