because of FARMING

Discovered/tamed fire-
cooking food, warmth, scare
wild animals, smoked meat,
light the darkness
Started using copper for tools,
then went to bronze- also
made better farming tools

Women cared for children &
gathered nuts & berries.
Men herded, farmed, took care
of the crops, & protected the
villages.
Men hunted for the meat
using strategies like running
Women did household tasks.

ICE AGE- taming fire

Began to build tombs.
