Read the sections in the textbook, pages 2 – 34, and pages 50-65, before attempting the homework. Get help from me, the MLC or at the ILC. Do not resort to just copying down solutions from the Student's Solutions Manual.
Note: eoo means every other odd: 1, 5, 9, 13, 17, 21, 25, 29, 33, 37, 41, 45, 49, 53, 57, 61, ...
Quiz #1 on 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, and 2.1 will be on February 20. It will have 4 – 6 homework problems, but some of the numbers in the problems will be changed.
