Changing fill colorFill color allows you to change the color of your image so you can better visualize your final project. The color is only a representation. The material that is placed on your cutting mat will be the project’s final color. Fill colors can be selected for layers with cut or write line types. You can choose from a custom color picker for layers that will be cut, or from any of the Cricut Explore® pen colors for layers that will be written or drawn.

Step 1 Tap the Layers button to open the Layers panel.

Step 2 To change the color of a layer, tap the arrow at the right of the layer in the Layers panel. The four tabs (Cut, Write, Score, and Print) indicate the line type for that layer.

Tip: You can also change the color of a layer that will be drawn. Choose from the list of pen colors.
