Changes I've made From Mock Up Real Thing • -Colourscheme: took away the orange because it was too similar to the yellow and it didn’t make the dull yellow

stand out, it was replaced with more purples and blues in order for the yellow on the masthead, certain lines to stand out on the page. The yellows used on the real thing also are less green and go more towards the orangey side of the gradient to look a little bit fresher and tie a bit more in with the rest of the page

• -Cover lines: the amount of cover lines has. been reduced in order to mimic other special editions

• The words Special edition has been removed because if the magazine works well it should be obvious that it is an edition based on this one artist in the main.

• The Black bars underlying the line under the masthead has been increased in darkness in order for the text to stand out more.

• Illuminessence logo has been changed to lie more in sync with the grunge style.

• -bands at the top: I put names of different bands featured at the very top of the magazine to reach out to the audience and grab their attention if they skim through it in the shop.

• -barcode added in order for customers to pay for it as well as a price sticker.

• -Photo is now of one of the band members in a full body shot to give variety to the rest of the images inside that are mainly headshots as well as making the cover more visually interesting.

• -font change on the cover lines to work better together as well as adding drop shadows and less writing to make the readability better.
