• Seek out and grow leaders.
• Reward structure must be clear for positive innovations.

Grass root versus top-down models
• Faculty buy in• Size of core faculty and numbers of senior
faculty members • Critical issue is that faculty and their
departments understand what problem they are correcting: Improving student learning, promoting active learners, handling more students with less or same resources, etc.
Institutional Challenges
• Change in Administration
• Provide fertile environment for usage of technology.
• Strong assessment and evaluation mechanisms and processes.
• Firm commitment to this method.
• Strong leadership (all my associate deans)
• Finding the resources.
